Should I only be concerned if I see many termites in an Advance Termite Station, or does seeing just one termite warrant applying the bait cartridge?

I have seen 1 to 4 termites in a handful of my stations but have not found any evidence of activity in the monitoring cartridges. I've also found a lot of ants in a few cartridges, cause for concern?

Answer:

If you are seeing termites feeding in an Advance Termite Bait Station, then we definitely recommend that you swap the monitoring cartridge for a bait cartridge. You can check those stations again after 1-2 weeks to see if there are still termites feeding there. If they are gone, then you can put a monitoring cartridge back in that station.  For ants around termite bait stations, you can apply a granule bait such as Maxforce Complete Granular Bait around the stations to take care of the ants.
