Chris from Greensboro, Nc writes

Should SpeedZone Southern Herbicide be applied to slightly damp to wet grass, or to dry grass?

We've had really good rainfall in the area over the last few weeks and the grass as well as the weeds are growing. I want to apply the herbicide at the most optimal time. It's scheduled to be dry over the next couple days. Was not sure if I should wait for additional moisture and apply afterwards or if now is a good time. Our temps are in the 60s and 70s in the next week or so. Is it safe and recommended to apply now? My lawn is growing nicely but there are patches of weeds I'd like to keep under control.

Answer:

SpeedZone Southern Herbicide can be applied to your soil as long as the soil is not waterlogged. The lawn can be damp when you are applying the product.
