During dormant season, rainfall or watering is necessary within 7 to 10 days after application of Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass to control seedlings. During the growing season, best results are usually obtained when applied in early Spring, and rain or water within 2 or 3 days of application may decrease the effectiveness on emerged weeds.
