Should I worry about bed bugs lingering in my shampooer after using it in an infested room?

Answer:

Anytime you are using a machine such as a vacuum or carpet shampooer in an area that may be infested with bed bugs, we recommend replacing the bag or cleaning the container after use so that you are not allowing any bugs that have been picked up to re-enter the area.  You can learn more tips in our Bed Bug Treatment Guide here.
