    Q
Is there some trick to keeping Surflan AS in suspension in the tank?
I have used Surflan several times, but every time I get "striping" i.e., there are times when the spray is faintly colored by the *very* orange surflan spray, and other times when it looks just as orange coming out of the sprayer as it looks in the jug. I have a 15 gallon tank and I put in a couple gallons of water, then with the hose running into the tank, I add the surflan and turn on the pump to try and mix it while there's water running into the tank too to keep it mixed. But I still get stripes, like it isn't mixed well... I do also mix Roundup with it - could that affect it? Any advice you could offer would be much appreciated!
    A

Per the product label for Surflan AS Herbicide: Maintain continuous agitation from mixing through application. You may need to use a smaller sprayer or stop to agitate more frequently if you are getting uneven coverage. There is an order listed for tank mixing to insure proper dilution. For example, if you are using a Roundup that is a wettable powder or granule, you would add and mix that product before adding the Surflan. You can view this information on page 4 of the product label under “Mixing Order.”
