The rate for Surge Broadleaf Herbicide for Turf is going to vary depending on the type of grass that you are applying the product to as directed on the product label. For example, for applying to warm season grass you would use 1.1 to 1.2 fl oz per 1000 sq ft and apply that in 0.23 to 5 gallons per 1000 sq ft when broadcasting or spot treating. That is the application rate that is recommended, regardless if you are using a pump sprayer or a hose end sprayer. When using you hose-end sprayer, you want to make sure that the settings are correct for the amount of product you are using per 1000 sq. ft. We do not actually carry the Ortho brand so are unable to provide the exact setting.
