    Q
Will Suspend SC control bermuda mites?
The active ingredient for DeltaGard Granules, deltamethrin, says that it will control bermuda mites. The label for Suspend doesn't say this but it has the same active ingredient. Can I do a broadcast treatment of my turf with Suspend SC and control bermuda mites?
    A

While its possible the Suspend or other similar active ingredient products could potentially control bermudagrass mites, the only product specifically listed for their control that we are aware of is the Triple Crown Insecticide

    Q
Does the Suspend SC work for bed bugs and how good it is?
    A
Suspend SC does treat bed bugs. Now, however, research shows that some strains of bed bugs are resisitant to it. We recommend using Temprid SC, because it will treat pyrethroid resistantbed bugs and using double killing power of two different active ingredients. Temprid SC also has a very broad application label.

    Q
Is it acceptable to spray under the oven and frig. w/o moving them to access the cracks and crevices?
    A
If you are unable to access the cracks and crevices behind appliances, using the wand on your hand pump sprayer, reach as far under the appliance as you can to apply the solution to the cracks and crevices and in between the appliances.

    Q
Does the concentrated Suspend SC ever expire? I have a bottle that is going on five years old.
    A
When kept in optimum conditions (out of direct sunlight and away from extreme temperatures), a bottle of Suspend SC can last up to five years. We always recommend that you use the products within three years of the date of purchase to be sure you are using effective products.

    Q
Does Suspend SC work well in killing scorpions?
    A
Suspend is a good product for scorpions, however there are products that will yield faster results.

Our most popular product for Arizona residents is definitely our Demon WP.  Suspend SC and many other products are also good, but not as strong as Demon.  Since Demon WP is a powder that is mixed with water, it is easier for scorpions to pick up on their body and faster acting.  Demon WP packs a punch which is what you need for the Arizona scorpions, spiders, and other insects.  It is very effective, yet very safe around children and pets at the same time.  It is a general use product that is labeled for all insects and is a great all around use product.  You should re-apply the product every 30 to 60 days for best results.

  • Asked by Dale from Charleston Sc

    Q
How do I measure the liquid in the Suspend SC container to get the correct amount? I can't seem to get the small spout measuring side to fill up.
    A

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble measuring Suspend SC into the measuring side. The product can be measured by squeezing the bottle and allowing it to go up the straw on the side of the bottle to fill the measuring side. Once measured to the amount you want (1.5-2oz) you fill it into your gallon sprayer and spray. Please make sure to agitate the mixture first before applying.

    Q
After applying suspend sc for fleas indoor, when do you know it's safe to return?
I know it's safe once it has dry. But when it drys how can u tell it's very sure that we won't get bitten by fleas? Does suspend sc kill in contact or do I have to keep treating it in order to fully work?
    A
Suspend SC is safe for pets and people once dry, you are correct. Flea infestations are never an overnight fix. Though each flea infestation is different - they all will require at least two treatments to start to see true results. You will want to do a follow-up treatment two weeks after your first treatment. If your infestation is more severe, you may even have to do a third treatment two weeks after that. Be persistant and patient. Vacuum frequently and always empty your vacuum each time outside of your home. For more tips please read and watch the How To Get Rid Of Fleas In Your House video on the bottom of this page.

    Q
Is Suspend SC safe for a home with infant and pets?
An exterminator is going to use this product in my home, and I am concerned about safety for my 5 month old son, dog and two cats.
    A
Yes, Suspend SC is safe once it is dry for children and pets. We would not recommend spraying when they are in the room. Once the product dries, it is safe for the children and pets to return to the room. It is colorless and virtually odorless so it will not be detable by them. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Q
Is Suspend SC too thick to use with a hose-end sprayer?
I cannot get Suspend SC to work with my hose end sprayer.
    A

Yes, Suspend SC may be used in hose-end sprayers. Be sure to check the instructions for the hose-end sprayer that you are using as some hose-end sprayers require water to be added to the resevoir with the insecticide, while other hose-end sprayers do not. Make sure to shake the Suspend SC well prior to use.

Will Suspend SC work as a broad miticide on indoor mites?

Suspend SC is labeled for interior crack and crevice application and listed outdoor use for listed pests only.
