    Q
How to get rid of gnats in house
They are in kitchen and living room
    A
First, be sure to check any house plants for larvae. If you have nouse plants, be sure to let the soil dry up a bit. You can use 565 Plus to flush out any areas like cracks and crevices they could be breeding in. The Flyweb Flylight is also a key component to catching the ones fliying around.

    Q
How do you spray indoor plants without runoff using Talstar P Professional Insecticide?
    A

General caution should be used when spraying an insecticide like Talstar P to certain types of plants, including tropical plants.  You may consider using a product like Bonide Systemic Granules which are convenient, ready to use granules that provide effective, long lasting insect control for up to 8 weeks.  This product is excellent for indoor houseplant use with no odor, no spray, no mess formula, and is labeled to kill tough houseplant pests like fungus gnats, mealybugs, whiteflies, thrips, and aphids.  The s systemic action of this product means that it is absorbed through the roots and moves throughout the plant and even protects new growth.

    Q
    Applying Talstar P to plants
I have read many of the previously submitted questions, but there always seems to be a general, blanket statement provided in regard to applying Talstar P to plants. I still wonder if there are any plants, shrubs, bushes , ornamental bushes or flowers which can be adversely affected by applying Talstar P as specified per instructions. I know it is not to be used on edible foods.
    A
There are certain plants of trees such as the Japanese red maple which we would caution you before applying any product. If in doubt on treating a certain plant you should treat one plant only or one small area of the plant with the Talstar before treating the whole plant. Wait at least three days to see the results before continuing.

    Q
How do I get rid of red and black bugs?
We have a few raintrees in our backyard. The past few years, we have had a huge infestation of red and black bugs. They seem to attach themselves to the seeds that come off the trees. We live in Florida. I have been told they are boxelder bugs or red shouldered bugs but I can't tell. Do you sell anything that will kill this type of bug?
    A

If you are indeed dealing with boxelder bugs, and what you have described does sound like boxelder bugs, then a product called Talstar P will do a great job for you. Talstar P can be sprayed directly on the plant foliage and it can be used on and in the house. We do recommend that you look up a few pictures of boxelder bugs online just to be sure they match the insect that you have spotted at your home.

    Q
Can I spray Talstar P on the wall of the home near an herb garden?
The plants are about 1 foot away from the wall of the home and are trimmed so they do not touch the house.
    A

You should not spray Talstar P (or allow drift of spray) to contact herbs or any other edibles.  If this is not possible, we would not recommend using it in this area.

    Q
Hi, I purchased Talstar P from you in the fall, and plan on using it this spring.
I plan on using it around the yard and the house to control biting insects and ants. We have free-ranging chickens. Will this be dangerous to them?
    A
Talstar has a three year shelf life and can be applied at 0.5-1oz per gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft. It should not be applied to any grazing areas, on any animals or areas where there are chickens.

    Q
Can I use Talstar P to treat white flies?
    A
Talstar P is our most popular product for white fly. It is important to spray the underside of the leaves on infested plants for effective control. Heavily infested leaves should be plucked off the plant and tossed in a bucket of soapy water.
