    What product would you recommend for crickets and spiders? Fruit flies/gnats and pantry moths?
    I would like to kill the crickets and spiders in my garage/basement. Also, want to set up a long lasting barrier or something that will kill them and keep them from coming in.

    You mentioned four very different pests in your question. Spiders and crickets can be controlled using Talstar P. Talstar P is a great general use insecticide that can be applied indoors and outdoors to help get rid of and prevent most crawling insects. Fruit flies and pantry moths on the other hand will require you to locate the source of the infestation to get rid of the pests. We do have fruit fly traps as well as pantry moth traps but these traps are meant for monitoring purposes and will not get rid of the entire infestation.     What is the mixing ratio for dry wood termites using Talstar P (Talstar One)?
    I have active termites coming through ceiling in one closet, annual issue.

    According to the Talstar P product label, you will need to use 1 oz of Talster per gallon of water and then apply at the rate of 4 gallons of dilution per 10 linear feet of trench. You will need to calculate how many linear feet you have around the structure you wish to treat to find out how much Talstar you will need to purchase.     I am buying my first power sprayer to start doing pest control for my neighbors.
    Do you use the same pesticides in the 50-gallon tank as you do for the normal hand sprayer?

    Normally, yes, you would use the same products in both the pump sprayer and 50 gal tank. Be sure to review the product label, as sometimes there are different mixing ratios for 50 gal tank sprayers

    What is the mixing instructions for exterior cluster fly control using Talstar P?

    You will mix 1 oz of Talstar P per gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft for an exterior application for cluster flies.

    It depends on the pest you are treating for, but for the most part you would typically use 1 oz. per gallon of water.  The bottle of Talstar P comes with a convenient measuring device on the bottle for easy use.

    how long after mixing and useing..if theres leftover..is it still good...and for how long?
    do you do room by room ?or can you do it 2/3/days.....cant afford to waste any talastar..so is there a shelf life of the mixture....or do i have to make a new mix..

    Talstar P (Talstar One) should be used within 24 hrs of mixing with water and then discarded.

    Will Talstar P be effective for killing carpenter bees?
    I see that Demand CS (lambda-csi) is specifically labeled to kill carpenter bees, but is much more expensive. Also is dusting the nest necessary, or will re-spraying the nest periodically (monthly?) be effective as well to kill larvae?

    Talstar P is very effective for controlling carpenter bees. We do recommend dusting the actual nests because the dust will last longer than a liquid. This is important because it can take a while for the egg to hatch and for the larvae to come into contact with the product.

    Can you recommend a long lasting product(s) for use against fire ants, as well as general pests in liquid?
    A long lasting liquid liquid pest control for ants, and other exterior pests in perimeter / yard. I live in south Louisiana. I am already using Taurus, for termite issues. Also needs to be pet safe.

    Talstar P can be used for fire ant control, but you will also need to do mound drenching. According to the Talstar P product label, "Fire Ant Mound control is optimized by combining broadcast applications that will control foraging workers and newly mated fly-in queens with mound drenches that will control existing colonies. If the soil is not moist, then it is important to irrigate before application or use a high volume application. Apply broadcast treatments at 0.5 to 1 fluid oz. per 1,000 square feet. Use enough finished volume to penetrate thatch or sod. Treat mounds by applying 1 oz of Talstar P per mound in 1 to 2 gallons water by sprinkling the mound until it is wet and treat 3 feet out around the mound. Use the higher volume for mounds larger than 12

    What is good for treating against Box Elder bugs?

    Talstar P does work for  boxelder bugs. Talstar P does not have an immediate knockdown effect but it does leave a long lasting residual. We do encourage our customers to apply Talstar P once a month through the stinkbug/boxelder bug season (August-November).
