Normally, yes, you would use the same products in both the pump sprayer and 50 gal tank. Be sure to review the product label, as sometimes there are different mixing ratios for 50 gal tank sprayers

The particle size in Talstar is too large to use in ULV fogger and could clog it. We would recommend when indoor fogging using Riptide. Riptide Waterbased Pyrethrin ULV is new technology that delivers effective control of a wide range of insects including mosquitoes, stored product pests, cockroaches, biting insects, crawling insects, flies and more without oil residues or oil-related issues.

Our most popular general use product is called Talstar.  It is widely used by pest control companies because it is labeled for almost every insect you could have a problem with and you can use it outside the home as well as inside, it is odorless and very safe for use around children and pets.  It is a liquid concentrate that you mix with water in a one gallon hand pump sprayer.

Any temperature between 40F and 85F is just fine to apply Talstar P.

Horseflies and many other species of biting flies tend to develop on the edge of bodies of water and since they are strong fliers these breeding areas can be near or far which makes finding the source next to impossible. You can apply a product such as Talstar P around the pool area and flies that land on the treated areas will be eliminated. Using Talstar will give some relief but since these flies can fly over treated areas it can be tough to get complete control. Relief should be on the way soon however as horsefly season is usually on 3-6 weeks long

 Talstar P will kill camel crickets. Apply Talstar P as a crack and crevice or spot spray to areas where pests hide, such as baseboards, corners, storage areas, closets, around water pipes, doors and windows, behind and under refrigerators, cabinets, sinks, furnaces, stoves, the underside of shelves, drawers and similar areas. Do not use as a space spray. Pay particular attention to cracks and crevices. We recommend treating the outside perimeter to help stop insect pests from coming indoors to start with. Apply Talstar P to a band of soil and vegetation 6 to 10 feet wide around and adjacent to the structure. Also, treat the foundation of the structure to a height of 2 to 3 feet.

Talstar P is the premier product for controlling mosquitos. In addition to the treatment around the foundation of the home as mentioned above, spray Talstar P on the underside of leaves on the lower-hanging branches of trees around the backyard or area where mosquitoes are a problem.  You can also spray the underside of leaves on shrubs and ornamentals. 

We do not carry or distribute the in wall systems so we cannot advise what to use.  We do know that most of those systems require a pressurized piece of equipment to properly treat the lines which most homeowners do not have.  We will say that the downside to those systems is that they do not prevent pests from entering your home since the bugs have to come inside the walls to come into contact with anything.  It is a much better approach to treat the exterior of your home with a professional product like Talstar P every 3 months which keep insects out of your home in the first place.  And all you need is a hand pump sprayer, not a specialized piece of equipment.

Talstar P can be safely applied in areas around a septic tank with no problem when used as directed on the product label.  This product binds to soil and does not move through it so it would not leech into the system.

Unfortunately, Talstar Granules are not labeled for carpet beetles. It would be best to use the liquid spray instecticide such as Talstar P in the crawlspace or inside along the baseboards, window frames, door frames, and cracks and crevices.

Talstar P (Talstar One) can be applied anytime of day, depeding on what pest you are treating for. You want to mix 1 oz Talstar P (Talstar One) into one gallon of water.

You can use 0.5 oz up to 1 oz per gallon of Talstar P (Talstar One) per gallon of water for mosquito control.

Yes, Talstar P (Talstar One) works great on White Footed Ants! Spray the Talstar around window and door frames, any areas where pipes enter the home, and around the foundation 3 feet up and 3-5 feet out on ground. Talstar P is effective for treating clover mites. You will need to mix one ounce to one gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft.

Talstar P is a great safe product for general pest control both in and around the home. It dries clear, has no odor, is non-staining and non-irritaing and can be used on lawns, bushes, ornamentals, trees and around the foundation of the home, as well as entry points like windows and doors. It will control over 100 different insects and will typically last 30-90 days outdoors and at least 90 indoors along baseboards and cracks and crevices. Its safe for children and pets once dry and is very cost effective.

Talstar P can be sprayed in many areas of the lawn where flies are present to try and control the population. It cannot be sprayed on any edibles but ornamentals, trees, bushes and lawns can be spraye with the Talstar safely. Any area you spray the Talstar, if a fly lands on any of the treated surfaces it will die from it as it grooms itself and ingests it.

Talstar P is not labeld for use on or around any edible vegetation including vegetable gardens and fruit and nut trees. You would need to stay at least 10 feet away from the drip line and roots of the tree or use a different product.
