The endless rain over the summer in the mid Atlantic left my dogs in agony - worst infestatiion of fleas ever. I chose Talstar P, noting that some reviewers found it helpful with stink bugs too. Not only has it cleared up these problems for me, but spiders and wasps too! It was tricky to treat the dogs' areas because shady spaces just wouldn't dry, but I moved many around to areas that had been treated and dried. Then I closed off the shady damp spaces and treated them. Others had their houses treated, dried & replaced, with ground outside of their areas treated. They also all got a spot on treatment. It's worked very well! A side benefit was eliminating the spiders that dwell under & inside of their wooden houses. Was shocked to see that black widows like to hide underneath! I sprayed the exterior of my home as well, in anticipation of stink bug season. For the next few days, drunken looking brown recluse spiders began revealing themselves. Ack! I no longer had white faced hornets and wasps buzzing my porches. When the stink bugs began arriving, few were finding their way into the house. Most that did died quietly on their own. They used to cover my porches, too numerous to count. Very few are visiting now. I didn't think there was any solution for stink bug infestations, so am thrilled to have found DoMyOwn & Talstar P - thank you!!!!

I had multiple pest problems moving into a new house. I did plenty of research and settled on Talstar (much cheaper here!) but I picked it up at my local Southern States. I treated as recommended and did some inside as there were several issues. Ants, Silverfish, Flies, and centipedes at the least. One coat and they are gone! Its been 4 weeks since I have seen a bug inside. I also treated areas of the lawn that were overrun with ants. Finally, I was cleaning up the hedges and noticed two large hornet nests. Wanting to get them taken care of with out a hardware store trip... I mixed up a batch and soaked the nests (it was dusk). I was shocked to wake up to piles of hornets under each nest, they were stopped dead in their tracks. My home pest control level is novice, sites like these have saved me 100s of dollars.

Talstar is a great product!! I have two houses and use it on both. One application and the ants are gone. I highly recommend it.

For the last two years we have been overrun with Brown Stink Bugs. It was a plague. After doing considerable online searching to find an answer to the problem I discovered Talstar P. It killed the stink bugs quickly and the residual effect continued to kill them as well as spiders and which were also a problem around our house. It also worked well on my roses for killing white flies and aphids. The stink bugs are no longer a problem. The fact that Talstar P is non-staining allowed me to apply it to the exterior of our house without worry. Talstar does what it claims.

Great product. I started using Talstar approximately 12 years ago and have never looked back. I am so pleased with the product. I apply Talstar around my house's outside foundation walls 4 times a year and cannot remember seeing any bugs in my house since the start date. The only thing better than the Talstar product is the DMY staff. They provide great counsel to their customers.

Still have bugs in both houses been 2 weeks since i sprayed did not help only helped break the wallet for chemicals that don't work

We have had a serious ant control problem since the day we moved into our house. No matter how much money we paid our pest control service the problem never improved. We got rid of our service a few months after hearing about this website and started our own pest control using Talstar P. I cleared the vegetation from the house and sprayed this product using a pump sprayer. We had ant colonies crawling under our siding from about a dozen places around the house. It's now been about month and there is no visible activity on the outside of the house. I also applied Talstar to our lawn using a hose end dial sprayer and the number of ant colonies in the yard is plummeting. We still have issues inside our home but it's gettig better after application of Talstar as well as an ant kit purchased here as well. Great product!

I have used Talstar for barrier treatment around outside of house for three years. Great product. Upon learning it can be used for lawn and shrub, I bought a Chapin hose sprayer. What a combination. The evening of the first use I saw immediate results. Will be using on a regular basis. Great information provided by your website!

Was having a terrible problem with carpenter bees at our cabin in Tennessee. This product was recommended by a contractor working on the house up there I ordered it and sprayed the house asap. It was amazing how well it worked. Almost no bees the next day, just a few checking out the structure but none were boring holes I ordered some more for my home in Fl to help with some other pests. This is supposed to work on almost everything. Heading back to TN in a month or so to check and spray again

Bought Talstar P to kill bag worms on my arborvitae's and blue spruce's. Although it's too late in the season to really effect the bag worms, I did a quick spray of all evergreens and the foundation of my house. In the next couple days it looked like a bug grave yard around the perimeter of my house! This stuff really does a great job. I also went back and sprayed around my window frames in hopes of killing stink bugs that nest there. In the spring I will spray all my evergreens again when the bag worms start hatching.

After a friend of mine recommended Talstar P to me about 10 years ago, I have been impressed ever since. In Florida, there are plenty of bugs and spiders year round. I spray my house attic, eaves, walls, grass, trees, bushes, with this stuff. Occasionally I will spray baseboards inside my house, but rarely need to spray inside. I do this 2 or 3 times a year with my Ortho hose sprayer and have no bugs, and fewer lizards and snakes, because their food chain is diminished. Sometimes I still get sugar ants, but not very often. Highly recommend it. It seems to be the best general purpose insecticide.

Terribly disappointed with this product. From all the raving reviews about how this is the one product that kills most all bugs including springtails, I was confident I had made the right purchase. Well literally 20 minutes after spraying the exterior of my home with the finished solution, the springtails not only came back, they walked right through the solution! 3 hours after spray, it appears that my problem has got even worse! Tons of them all over the house.

Because Talstar P is a residual product, it may take 30 minutes or more to kill individual insects because of the mode of action. Springtails are an extremely prolific pest that can be quite difficult to treat. To fully eradicate them, you will need to identify and eliminate the moisture source that is causing an ideal situation where they can breed. I live in the country on 5 acres of land. I have a 185 acres of cow pasture on one side and 50 acres of horse pasture on the other side.We have a big problem with grasshoppers.Three years ago they stripped every bush shrub & tree. Now every year I spray Talstar P on everything even on the house and it don't stain it. Weeks later it is still killing grasshoppers,spiders beetles ect. Im completely satisfied with this product! I read the reviews on here and I decided to give it a try. This was my first year living in my new house which hasnt been lived in for the past 2 years and some bugs had made homes within it. I had carpenter ants coming in through unknown places and centipedes showing up in the basement. I sprayed this around the outside of the house and around the floor and ceiling of my unfinished basement and with repeating treatments every 3 months I have a bug free house! What's even more unique is that I know family members that work for the company (FMC) that makes this insecticide so you feel kinda proud.

The best that there is for keeping insects out of my house. I spray the perimeter of my house, six feet on the ground and six feet up the walls. Then have no insects in the house for at least a year or two. Also, no spiders. (Spiders eat insects, so there's nothing for them to eat. Spiders go to the neighbor's house where they still have insects.)

This product is incredible at killing spiders. Had webs all over my house. I mixed 30ml per 1 gallon (1floz). Applied with a weed sprayer application. Waited 2 days and pressure washed my house. The product killed every spider in ever web. Was incredible to see. Re applied after house was dry and have not had a spider return. House is free of webs and insects.

I live on a lake and have had trouble with spiders since we built the house. I aprayed the house with Talstar and waited a week, then had the house pressure washed to remove all the spider webs, spider droppings, etc. I then sprayed with Talstar again as soon as the house dried. It had been three weeks now and no spiders. My wife thinks it is great. Also, the shipping of the product was exceptionally fast.

I started using this for mosquitoes and Holy cow I had superior results. Now it's my go to for spraying houses and lawns. The price is right and I think it's better then tempo and suspend.

I have used Talstar Pro (ONE) for 6 years plus and this stuff will kill your roach, spider, ant, stinkbug, silverfish and at least 65 more types of bugs at a 100% kill rate. Use one ounce to one gallon of water and mix. This stuff has totally wiped out a Cockroach problem I had after the new renovation had been done on my house. Outside the house I use a hose-end sprayer to apply around the foundation and sidewalks etc. This application technique will get the poisen deep under the cracks in concrete sidewalks and under wood decks etc. Set the mixture mode on the sprayer so it mixes it at one ounce poison to one gallon water. Inside the house this poison is safe around kids and animals AS LONG AS IT IS USED AS DIRECTED with the instructions that come with the poison container.

Excellent insecticide with very low odor. I have used this product for 3 years on my orchids and other house plants before bringing them back into the house from their summer "vacation". In addition, I use it to spray around all the doors and windows to keep bugs from entering the house for winder hibernation.

I hate bugs and spiders so I purchased the gallon container of Talstar P. It will be more than enough to spray around my house and my neighbors house too. I have not seen a live bug around our house since I sprayed Three weeks ago.

I have been looking for something I can use to save me from calling a service. I sprayed the outside of the house and it's been over 2 weeks and I'm finding dead cockroaches on the outside of the house. No creatures have come inside. I haven't found a need to spray inside the house so far.

I just love to see the roaches DEAD OUTSIDE. They do not make it in the house. All it takes is spraying 2 - 3 feet up the house and out from the house - on the outside. It is strong - wonderful product!
