Great Product. I was ussing a diffrent ant control product that you buy at the big box stores for years, but could not control the ants in the spring time. I would apply that product monthly and still have problems. I was forced to get a professional pest control company in to spray, but at $65 a month it was to hard to justify after a year of service. I searched on the internet and found this site and product with good testimonials. I've used this product now for a year with great success similiar to what I was getting with the professional company. One drawback is it is hard to apply as much as the professional company to the eaves and siding. I have a back pack sprayer not a tank with 100' of hose. Though with what I have saved in getting rid of the company I could purchase a larger tank and hose combination. Cancel that service and get this product it works great. Apply per the directions and you will have no ants or spiders around the house.

Deal with hobo spiders, wolf spiders and western conifer seed bugs this time of year (Aug-Sept). When I say deal with I mean a lot, spiders in your shoes if you leave them on porch and seed bugs all over the outside of house. Bought Talstar because it said it lasted months with one spray and was safe around pets and kids. Sprayed outside of house and garage and 10-15ft out around foundation. After a few days there was dead bugs and spiders everywhere. Does take a few days to kill spiders but after a day they don't move then die a few days later. Very pleased with this product and DMOPC.

Before Talstar I didn't use any mosquito control products. We live on a 20 acre wooded lot with 3 swamps/ponds and a nearby lake. Our car would attract so many mosquitoes just driving down our 1/4 mile driveway we couldn't even pull in the garage or too many mosquitoes would get in the house. Our kids would come inside after a short time swollen with bug bites. We simply couldn't enjoy our summer outdoors. I used a 26 gallon ATV sprayer to spray Talstar P (mixed with NyGuard IGR) and 3 1/2 weeks later my family is still enjoying the great outdoors! Friends and family who come over to our house notice the immediate difference in the lack of mosquitoes and will soon be Talstar customers themselves!

Stuff works great! I live in the mountains of Southern California. We had a very wet year ending a 6 yr drought. My lake filled up and every creek is running. Because of the heavy rains the mosquitoes were the worst I've experienced in 10 yrs. It was almost impossible to go out side in late afternoon and evenings. You were attacked by swarms of mosquitoes and every time you opened the door several would enter. They would keep you awake at night buzzing around your face and ears. I applied Talstar with my foggier all around the house and foliage surrounding the house. That was two weeks ago and I swear the mosquito infestation is down by at least 95% maybe more. One nice thing is a gallon goes a long way. I'd recommend Talstar to anyone with a big property.

I originally purchased a small container to use in pest control around the house. I've since expanded to treating the yard around the house. Talstar P does unbelievably well taking care of ants. We used to have those very small ants that show up in kitchens but no more. We don't have fire ants so I can't say how it does with them but the typical ant cannot handle it. I treat from the foundation out 50 or more feet and within the treated area there are no ants. They will have nest just outside that perimeter but won't cross the line. I've also found that it removes the grubs from the treated area as well. I appreciate the concentration of the product so I can use it without breaking the bank on cost like so many other products. You can't go wrong treating with Talstar for controlling pesky bugs.

We have been plagued with Japanese Beetles over the years and the real problem is our neighbors as they do nothing to control the beetles. I treat my yard for grubs every year and have no signs of grubs. Last year we lost a beautiful weeping cherry tree to Japanese Beetles and I decided it was time to do something to protect our landscaping. I talked to the folks at DoMyOwn and they recommended Talstar P Professional Insecticide. I sprayed our new Japanese Maple tree as directed before the Beetle season really started and other plants as directed on the product. Now the Beetle season is in full swing and so far we have had no damage to any of our landscaping. Be sure to follow product instructions. Now if we could just get our neighbors to do the same it would be great.

Fast delivery. Used it the day I got it, sprayed the entire yard of the house, CBS of my house and the windows, garage, etc. I noticed that night that I couldn't get a bug to visit my front door light. My back porch was mosquito free for 5-6 days until we had many days of rain in a row. Even still, not much activity, but I reapplied anyway because it was a new product to me, but only about a gallon around the house. A month in, I am very happy. Florida in the summer time is like a buffet for Mosquitoes. Initially, the price looks like it is expensive, but 4 ounces is what I use for two gallons of water. 3/4 gallon is 96 ounces. If I stay true to the directions, that is 24 applications. I was buying fogger liquid or other sprays that only lasted a few applications, throwing money out the window with parley noticeable results. I may not need to buy more Talstar for years.

I have had an increasing problem with millipede infestation each fall for the past 4 years. I have tried "many" products from home and garden departments/big box stores, and none did much more than slow the infestation slightly. Last year we had thousands in our basement and on our sun room with access to the outside. At your online recommendation I purchased Telstar P and have been amazed at how well it has worked. I sprayed planting beds around the perimeter of our house and the foundation as well as sidewalks, and the problem is all but eliminated - only a few visible, and residual effect might be ultimately get those. NONE in the house. Thanks for your help

Over the course of my life l have had many encounters with ants. I have squashed them, set them on fire, sailed them down the creek, peed on them, etc and then I read where God had said to consider the ant and its ways. I'm thankful He did not say be one with the ant! I have been dealing with ants in my home for some time and have used many products to try and stop them from taking up residence here. Finally I do believe I have the upper hand. I have sprayed this product around the perimeter of the house and inside in certain areas. I do believe that stopped them! I will continue to treat my house on a regular schedule. I am pleased that I don't have to pay a company to do it!! I have become the aggressor and spray areas where I find ants in the yard. Great product!!!

This product is the number one safety product to get rid of bugs, roaches and all the insects that can invade your household. Excellent for both outside and in with no fear in endangering your pets or your children. I have used this product and there is no need for anything else as it meets all my requirements. In using this product you do not see any insects around for the longest time and even on the outside the rain does not affect its usefulness. I spray around the entire house both on the ground and on the sides of the house. I would recommend this product to anyone as safe and effective and not expensive.

Great product. Use to use Cyper WP, but that was taken off the market, then used Demon WP, but that is now only available in small packets. Plus both of these products left a stain on dark surfaces. It appears that Talstar is much safer to use and dries clear. It is the same product that my current pest management business (soon to be former) uses. We live on a lake and have a lot of spiders. This has worked great. It has noticeably made a difference with other pests both outside and inside the house. Currently my pest management business only treated the outside area of our house and decks, primarily because of additional cost for the interior. I was able to purchase both Talstar P and Talstar granules for less than the cost of one pest management application and have enough for many more applications. Shipment was fast and easy.

One year my neighbor's yard had fleas, they got in my yard, then on my dog and then in my home. Exterminators were outrageous with their prices and how many treatments it would take to get rid of the pests. Got on the internet and found this stuff, and I was looking for the strongest money could buy. Well this is it, and it's the best in my opinion. First treatment they were gone. One more for the eggs and larvae and no more fleas. It works on palmetto bugs cause they would run in the house when we had the door open, not anymore. Sprayed the outside of the house and have not needed an exterminator since. Works on ants in the yard and doesn't kill grass, works on bees, wasps, hornets. I have used this stuff on every unwanted pest and they are no more around my house. Love it, I tell everyone about this site and show them exactly what and where it is. They usually order on the spot and they are having the same amazing results too. In my opinion it's the best.

Prior to treating the perimeter of my house with Talstar P, I used a gas powered pressure washer to clean the exterior of my house, and all the concrete and the concrete expansion joints. While doing this, I found the daytime hiding spots of all the crawly things; hundreds of various bugs (black widows, roaches, scorpions and other bugs) came out of every crack I blasted with the pressure washer. While blasting out a large expansion joint in the driveway, dozens of crickets emerged. After allowing the house perimeter to dry for 24 hours, I proceeded to treat with Talstar P, mixed at 2 oz. per gallon of water. The house perimeter was treated 2 feet up from the base, and two feet horizontally, with extra attention given to all cracks. All concrete expansion joints (including the driveway) were thoroughly dosed. The interior of the garage was also thoroughly sprayed. Prior to application, my driveway, garage, and yard were a nightmare. Flipping on the garage light at night would reveal dozens of roaches scurrying for cover, numerous black widows in the corners, and the odd scorpion. The driveway would be alive with roaches and crickets. There were so many black widows around the outside of my house (especially the back porch) that my kids weren't allowed in the yard at night. After applying the Talstar P spray, I used a broadcast spreader and applied Talstar granules to the front and back lawns and landscaping. Prior to applying the granules, my lawns were heavily infested with some species of small black spider, as well as a variety of bugs. It has now been three days since application. Last night, I went on a "bug hunt" to see the results of my efforts. Flipped on the garage lights. No scurrying! In fact, there wasn't a (live) bug in sight. No black widows, nothing. The garage was completely dead. Outside, the results were the same. No crickets or roaches on the driveway. No bugs or spiders in the landscaping. After spending the first two post-treatment days cleaning up dead bugs, I have not seen a bug, alive or dead, inside or out. Talstar P and Talstar granules have effectively tamed the myriad of bugs we get here in the desert.

After reading reviews and talking to support staff I bought Talstar P 3/4 gal. to treat my house and perimeter of a very bad springtail problem. I sprayed 3-4 feet up (to bottom of windows), around windows, and then 3-4 feet out on my grass around the whole house. While it's decreased the springtail population somewhat it's not nearly what I was made to think, I still have thousands. I'm also using Bifen granules around the perimeter. Support is now telling me the springtails must be down under my foundation. I understand they can breed there but when they come up and out along my siding why isn't this stuff killing them then since it's suppose to last and be active for 3 months. There is no explanation for that. If you have a springtail problem I would hire a professional company and get a written guarantee they'll get rid of them and keep them away.

Our house has a tree stump in the back yard that causes huge American wood roaches to get inside our house. We usually see a roach every other day, especially when it rains or after cutting grass. Tried using Ortho products from Home Depot but it only kept them away for a few days before coming back. Did some research online and came across Talstar P. Bought a pint and used 1 oz with a gallon of water and sprayed. It's been exactly 20 days and I haven't seen a roach in sight!! Not even after multiple rainy days and grass cuts! Wow!! I'm very impressed and will be a long time customer for sure!

I have had a professional company treating the house for almost two years and while they did well with most of the pest, the millipedes have remained consistent. They've even come back out to do interim treatments because we kept seeing them in the basement. My wife's parents live in an apartment down there so we need it to be bug free. Decided to try this in addition to what the professional company put down. It's been two weeks since i've done the additional treatment and we haven't seen one since. They were popping up every few days before I sprayed. We'll keep an eye out for them, but if this holds up...it's my new favorite thing to spray in the house now. I will also cancel my professional exterminator contract. Save me some serious $$ with this stuff. Thank you!

Black ants have long been a problem in our yard and worse, in our house. Everything off the shelf at the home improvement stores does not work. I've tried concentrates, baits, and ready-to-use sprays with little effect. This Talstar P is easy to measure, and following the easy instructions both on the label and the website video, I've seen immediate results. The ants are gone after one application around the perimeter of the house and I haven't seen any in the house either. In addition, this product kills spiders, earwigs, sow bugs, and millipedes. The day I received this product, a pest control contractor was soliciting door to door. I showed him the bottle and he inspected the label. He agreed the active ingredient would accomplish the job of killing my ant infestation. Why pay a service $95 per quarter to do work I can handle myself? I'm very happy with the advice and product performance Do My Own Pest Control provides!

Pest control pricing in my area is ridiculous. they wants $90+ every three months and they only spray one time in the quarter unless I specifically request them to come back. I decided I would check in to doing it myself and I am sure glad I did. It is very easy and even with having to buy the sprayer and the pesticide, after one use I am already money ahead of getting a quarterly service from a local company. I used this for the first time on 6/26/16. The very next day I saw lots of dead bugs in front of my garage and front door including disgusting cockroaches. In my backyard we had trails of ants in several places plus fire ants in the yard. It has now been two weeks and no ants on the patio or in the house. As I said above, it was really easy to use. I have a two gallon sprayer so I measured two ounces and dumped into sprayer then slowly filled with water so as not to splash. Put the pumper back into the sprayer, pumped up the pressure and treated the perimeter of my house as well as the shrubbery around my house. Very little mess and cleanup was a breeze. So far, I am a happy camper.

We live out in the country and are surrounded by woods on all four sides of our property. When we first bought the place a few years ago, the entire property was heavily infested with everything - Japanese beetles, Ladybugs all over the outside of the house, mosquitos everywhere in the evenings, ant holes and ants all over the backyard, and the list goes on. It was bad. I did some research and decided to try this stuff in my 30-gallon tow-behind sprayer. I sprayed the entire yard, the flower beds, landscaping, and around the foundation of the house. The next day I went out to do an inspection. Talstar-P wiped out everything! It's like an A-bomb against insects! There were dead Japanese beetles all over the yard and not a trace of a single ant. Surrounded by woods and a large pond, and not a single Mosquito anywhere!! Very nice!! I've been using Talstar P ever since. I treat my property about 3 times per season (April through October). One treatment will last about 1.5 months for us. Rarely do I see a bug in our yard or around our house! Not even an ant!! The stuff is great for keeping the bugs away, and its child and pet safe with no odor.

The professional pest manager told me about Talstar. Sprayed my entire yard, 3 acres, last Saturday to control gnats, mosquitos and horse flies. I'm near to the Tennessee River where it's swampy so mosquitos have been really bad. On Sunday I was working in my yard and noticed there weren't swarms of gnats or horse flies. First time this summer my wife and I were able to relax on the patio without donating a couple pints of blood. Not sure how long it will last but I'll reapply when bugs return. Much more effective then malathion.

We had a mosquito problem. The mosquitoes in the Phoenix area are small and fast. We could not go outside without putting on repellant or using mosquito coils. I had tried the big box stores products but they were only slightly effective and were expensive in relation to their coverage and frequent reapplication became a pain in the a** due to the low coverage area per tank. After using this product at the highest recommended dilution rate I am happy to report that within 12 hours we had no mosquitoes! Plus no grasshoppers, crickets or ground spiders! It has been 10 days since spraying all patio surfaces, walls and foundation (up 2 -3 feet), eaves, yard, potted plants and their soil (not vegetable garden), trees and small palms. You do not have to have complete coverage, just most areas as the insects will eventually come in contact with a treated area. It has been 10 days since application and have not had to apply repellant or light coils since. I can now go outside without fear of being attacked. I have not been bitten once and am outdoors for hours every day. We do still see bugs flying around the yard lights at night but I believe they are attracted from adjacent properties and will eventually land on the treated areas and die. Additionally, some of our potted plants have perked up due to the killing of the subterranean insects that were feeding on them. I am very happy with this product and have recommended it to friends who are paying $80 per month to pest control companies. I will have to post a followup as to the residual effects of this product.

Talstar insecticide works the best for me when trying to get rid of the mosquitoes in my yard...it lasts quite a long time (months) and is easy to apply on a hose end sprayer.

We live in the south and get a lot of what I call water bugs, which are gigantic roaches. I sprayed all along the inside baseboards, under the sink and behind the fridge. I then went outside and sprayed around the bottom of the house. All around the windows and door frames, I found a few dead bugs inside afterwards but nothing since then. I highly recommend this product.

I've been using Bayer advanced home pest control for years, they are fine, and does the job most of the time, but Talstar P is basically better in almost every way. It is more effective, much cheaper, less than $0.5/gal vs $7/gal. Since I am not a professional, I can't comment on its effectiveness of killing the toughest bugs, but I do know it does a good job keeping silverfish, ants, and roaches away from my house.

This is the only thing I've found (available to most homeowners) that will control spiders. Once a year, I spray it at the base of the outside walls of the house and other structures, around the outside of windows and doors, in the nooks and crannies of the patio lattice, around the security cameras, and underneath all of the patio furniture. Few spiders for the entire next year. I use PPE, and wouldn't recommend spraying inside a dwelling.

I have used Talstar for a few ant treatments and I must say that the product works around the perimeter in and outside of the home. The only reason this gets a 4 star is because it is not as residual as some products on the market. In humid weather, like in Tennessee, this product comes off with ease and can allow the new infestations of creatures to come into the house.

We still have "crazy ants", microscopic ones that have been sprayed inside and outside and all over the house. They show up on counters and cannot keep any type of food product that one usually keeps on a kitchen counter top. They'll even show up all over shampoo bottles in the shower in the morning and if you leave a dirty dish in the sink, they're on it! What to do?!

I used this for the first time about 3 weeks ago. Mosquitoes were so thick on my one acre place they would carry you away. I sprayed 16 gallons of solution at 1 oz. per gallon with a misting rig I made for my leaf blower. Took me about 45 minutes to use all the product. Went in the house, took a shower, came back outside, NO mosquitoes, gone, not one. Been mosquito free ever since.

I have now sprayed my house top to bottom twice. I had oriental roaches, ants, wasps, pillbugs, and beetles when I moved in. After following the instructions the first time I noticed that the pillbugs and wasps were gone, but still had issues with the others. 2 weeks later I sprayed again, and I was still seeing the roaches, ants and beetles. I finally went and bought a raid fogger and already noticed a significant difference.

Terribly disappointed with this product. From all the raving reviews about how this is the one product that kills most all bugs including springtails, I was confident I had made the right purchase. Well literally 20 minutes after spraying the exterior of my home with the finished solution, the springtails not only came back, they walked right through the solution! 3 hours after spray, it appears that my problem has got even worse! Tons of them all over the house.

Because Talstar P is a residual product, it may take 30 minutes or more to kill individual insects because of the mode of action. Springtails are an extremely prolific pest that can be quite difficult to treat. To fully eradicate them, you will need to identify and eliminate the moisture source that is causing an ideal situation where they can breed.
