easy to use, easy to measure, easy to apply and it takes less than an hour from mixing to spraying to clean up, applied every 2 months thus far and has controlled better than the professionals, way better. My wife used to complain that she thought for sure they were just putting water in their sprayer

Excellent response on order and delivery. Quart seems to be the right size for my use in yard for spot treatment. Primary use is for mole crickets in area of yard lights. Great container design for ease of measurement and mixing. So for it is working great.

I Purchased this and mix as directed. It did get rid of mosquitoes, however, there are tons of little gnats all over the place at this does nothing for. Biting gnats and overall annoying little flies that this chemical had no impact on. Would opt for something else that will take care of everything

I hadn't thought buying things online would lead to success! Those bugs were biting my family like crazy! It was a serious embarrassment to have bed bugs on guest beds.. Until I Found This Lovely Product! Thank You So Much This Product Is A Relief!

2nd purchase of this product. This is some good stuff! Mix and use per directions and wear gloves and other protective items when mixing and applying. This stuff has staying power and will keep killing bugs long after application...even after getting rained on. This stuff REALLY works!

Purchased for millipedes. Called Talstar to get exact mixture and directions. Did everything as directed with zero results. After 3 more calls, and another application I realized I was wasting my time and money. The last lady I spoke with told me I didn't know what I was doing and I should hire a professional. I have owned a tree farm for 20 years, have the best equipment, and likely have spent more time spraying than she learning her product.

This product seems to be working and is more long lasting on these Argentina Ants we are trying to control. You can't get rid of them, but you can control them to a certain extent and this is doing it for us. It kills them upon contact and we do saturate the ground hoping to get down to the queen once we find the nest they are coming from. We rake at the nest point and then spray liberally.

This stuff is great! Been using talstar for two years and sitting outside without having to swat mosquitos all summer is really enjoyable. We live in the woods in MN where the mosquitos are the state bird. A visit with the neighbors let's me know how good this stuff is as they swarm on you at their house. The price is great for the results compared to having the pros do it. Spray once a month and enjoy the summer.

Have bought many products from lowes and home depot hoping and wishing they would work and they did for maybe a day or two. Tried to kill ants in the yard and they would just move to another spot. Talstar P on the other hand works great it kills the ants dead within 5 minutes of using it. I had a spider problem, have not seen one since I used talstar. Great product, I have and would recommend to anyone. Thanks DMOPC

I have used this product 3 years now. I have very few bugs in our house or garage, just 2 or 3 spiders a year. This also helped me with wasps nesting in our overhangs of the front and back porches. I spray (April, July, Sept.) a ground perimeter around the whole house and then go around the ceilings of our porches for the wasps. Easy application with any hardware store sprayer. Great product, and I save big bucks not using the 'professionals'

Always had problems with spiders and brown ants in my garage. Sprayed around whole interior of my garage, driveway and around perimeter of the house. What a difference. The only bugs I see now are dead ones. Reminder, this is not an instant kill product but once bugs cross over it it's only a short time until they die. Wear a mask and be careful if it's windy. Glad I found this vendor. Forget wasting money at the big box stores.

This was purchased primarily to provide long-term control of Florida mosquitoes along with having a lasting general pest control application. I can that within hours of applying this product, you could already see numerous pests dead from places that would not be expected! For general control, this product is amazing. For the mosquitoes, the process will take some time but from what I've seen so far, it is working.

Someone sprayed this for me a few years back when they were house sitting. I saw about five roaches in six months and those I did see were “high”. Same person made a mixture for me. It killed on contact but did not keep them away. I bought some thinking maybe he mixed it wrong. They're not even dying on contact now. It takes awhile for the insecticide to affect them. Maybe they've gotten use to it?

time between placing my order and my Talstar sitting on my front doorstep was less than 3 days! i've bought several products from DMOPC and they never fail to impress!. i've used Talstar in the past and it's as good as advertised, and where it really shines is on ants and carpenter bees. DMOPC, you have a customer for life! i'm thinking the pest control co. i work for should start buying from you! again, thank you!

Great Product! After seeing how it would work in my own yard and around the house, I sprayed my fathers. Needless to say, he was following me around to make sure I wasn't missing anything lol. Long story short, after he saw the results, he asked me to order him some. The following day, I ordered two gallons, one for each of us. I applied 1oz to the gallon per 1000 sq/ft. I will say the ants were back after about 4 weeks but you could see where it killed a pile of them around the edges of the beds. You literally can see insect running especially around flowerbeds with pine straw.

Where we live in Central Florida we have a very serious midge problem. The professional exterminator, Clarke, has sprayed with some success, but still the midges are not under control. I went online to search for a chemical that would not only kill the midges, but have a long lasting residual effect. Unfortunately, Talstar didn't have any long range effect - maybe 2 or 3 days at the most. Not worth the $32 per pint price for the control of midges.

I have trouble with biting bugs in the yard and flower beds, plus mosquitoes, flying gnats, etc. Before I could be in the yard for any reason for more than 10 minutes, I had to spray any exposed skin with sticky bug spray, but there was no alternative if didn't want bug bite welts all over me. That was until I discovered Talstar P Professional Insecticide. I mixed it and sprayed the yard the same day it arrived. I live in the south and everyday there can be long periods of heavy rain. The first week after I sprayed, there were 4 long periods of rain, and after each rain, I was sure the bugs would start biting again, but it was 10 days with intermittent rain before I got the first bug bite. Talstar P was effective for the entire period even through the rain! It's worth every penny! I am so happy to have found this product.

We've been battling mosquitoes (or other biting insects?) for 5 years or more. I would get a dozen bites within 30 seconds of going outside. We couldn't use our back yard at all. We sprayed the whole yard and deck with Talstar and Voila! No bites! And we still have fireflies, which makes me happy. Make sure you wait for a few dry days, our first time it rained right after and we had to reapply.

I use a 40 gallon sprayer with a 5ft spray boom and a spray wand on my tractor. This product works for everything so you can be assured that you will have a bug free summer. Mixing 40 oz of product to 40 gallons of water will cover one acre including using the spray wand where the spray boom won’t cover. Follow the directions on the label and you can’t go wrong. Very impressed with this product.

I ordered talstar p and tekko pro to control mosquitoes and ticks. I have had no mosquitoes or any other biting insects for about 3 weeks and still no ticks. I'm just a homeowner that got sick of paying $100+ per month to have a company come spray so I bought everything to do it myself. I opted for the expedited shipping but I'm not sure if it was necessary. The products arrived in about 36 hours. I couldn't be happier.

I was a little skeptical at first however after seeing my friends results I had to give it a try. I sprayer around the perimeter of my house and in the rocks since we have seen quite a few roaches and spiders. After the first day we found over 50 dead roaches and multiple spiders. I would highly recommend. Follow all the safety and mixing instructions.

I've lived in Fl for 3 1/2 yrs and have fought the fleas and ants in my yard with every OTC product I could find, and with a professional lawn service ($35 per mo.!!) without sucess. After ONE treatment the fleas and the biting ants are gone!! Wish someone had told me about Do My Own Pest Control back then! Easy to apply, affordable, great product!

Review based on only 1 week since product application at a residential single family home address. So far, so good, as it appears to be working just fine. However, time will tell as we live in FL and we are surrounded by woods, so the product will get a thorough test. Love the design of the bottle - made mixing the product with water very easy. Also appreciate the low , if any, odor during application. May essentially be our new 'go to' insecticide product.

This product was first recommended to me to help get rid of noseeums on my lanai. Those pesky, biting little bugs that can squeeze through the screened in area around the pool. It works great, any bugs I see are DEAD. I also was able to use this for a chinch bug lawn problem as this product can be used in the house, outside of the house, on lawns and also on bushes and shrubs. Great 'all-purpose' insecticide at a great price.

I was introduced to Talstar P by a former neighbor. I CALLED, received the information I was looking for and purchased my first gallon. Fortunately I have a 26 gallon sprayer, so the measuring marks on the bottle made the mixing quite easy. I was so satisfied with the results I came back once again. Like the courteous reps and the speed of which I received the products. Thanks Do My Own Pest Control, when I am ready, I will call again.

I sprayed this in conjunction with Permethin and nyguard igr. I have used the Talstar and nyguard before but didn't get the initial knockdown, (it would take around 5 days to take affect) by adding permethrin the results where noticeable the next morning. Has been a week now and no bites on my dog or son. Using this combination usually lasts about 60 days during summer months and 90+ during "winter"

This is a very good product.I have apartments that were infested with bed bugs and one with fleas. The bed bugs are very labor intensive and it takes several applications. Around the bed frame, head board, in all dressers under drawers, carpet around the bed. Also along all base boards. The fleas were concentrated in a sump pump drain in a basement, and by spraying around the pump hole and in side the hole on the sides it knocked them down. Make sure the animals do not have fleas or you are wasting your time.

Great product Had problems with ground beetles the past few years. Nothing I used worked until I used Talstar P. this stuff is amazing. Absolutely zero bugs of any kind in or around the house. While others are still fighting off the ground beetles and other unwanted visitors with the stuff Lowes or HD carry, I'm sitting pretty with the Talstar that I bought from domyownpestcontrol.com. So far I just used one application and I'm shocked how well it worked. It is truly the atomic bomb for bugs. Super satisfied.

I bought this only because of the great reviews and promised if it worked i would actually write one my self. I describe my backyard as vampire mosquito land they r the most vicious within 30 secs u will be bit i buy spray by the case for the kids it's been two weeks since i sprayed this new stuff i have been mosquito free and no bug spray i promise u this is the truth this works im buying more just in case they run out thanks talster p i now can live sitting in the yard writing this review u should see

Have been using this product for years to aid in controlling insects around my home. It has been terrific in solving mainly the problem of mosquitoes and other insects. We enjoyed sitting out and also grilling foods in the spring summer and early fall seasons and the mosquitoes are a real problem especially without some sort of control and Talstar has taken care of that problem. I tried other products but they did not work as well as the Talstar. I don't use any other products and highly recommend it anyone who is seeking a remedy for insert control.
