I was really happy with DoMyOwnPestControl.com customer service. Shipping was fast, products were great and the instructions/forums on the website were really helpful. I read up on which product to use for a couple of days before ordering. Everything listed on the website was helpful. I'm very pleased and have recommended DoMyOwnPestControl.com to all my friends and family. I used Talstar P inside and outside our entire 3,000 sq ft house and haven't seen any insects since. I used three ounces of product: 1 mixed gallon for the interior, 1 mixed gallon for the exterior and crawlspace and 1 mixed gallon for the backyard grass, foliage and deck. The Talstar is perfect for both applications. I was worried it would leave a visible residue on interior hardwoods, baseboards carpets and marble tile, but once dried it really was totally unnoticeable. I was expecting to find dead bugs everywhere after the application, but found only a couple. I assume this varies depending on how many insects are present to start. For our purposes the Talstar was perfect. I have noticed a marked difference in the amount of pests on the outside of our home and have not seen one stray insect in the interior. It also helped with the stray spiders that I wasn't sure it would combat. Even our garage and workshop have stayed bug free 45 days after application. I also used the garden hose attached sprayer to spray our back yard and have not had to use any other mosquito control all summer. Talstar does exactly what it says and is very easy to use. Earwigs - No More!

Earwigs were REALLY a problem in our home's living quarters and basement. Each morning, they could be found in the bathtub, and on the shower curtain, walls, drapes, and baseboards. We tried numerous insect sprays, which only appeared to kill the earwigs for a day or so after being applied. After applying the Talstar P (inside, and around our home's exterior foundation) I was amazed at the number of dead earwigs I would find each day. It has now been about two weeks, and I have seen no further earwigs...alive or dead. Thank you!

I have been using this product both inside and outside of my home for over 3 years. It is well worth the cost. I used to pay up to $60.00/quarter for a pest control company to come into my home. Originally, I had purchase the smaller container (either the pint or quart) and it lasted me 3 years! I live in Florida and the bugs are abundant. With Talstar...the only bugs I ever see are dead bugs and that is how I know it's time to spray once again! I have used Talstar for a few ant treatments and I must say that the product works around the perimeter in and outside of the home. The only reason this gets a 4 star is because it is not as residual as some products on the market. In humid weather, like in Tennessee, this product comes off with ease and can allow the new infestations of creatures to come into the house.

This stuff is very effective, as I have seen thus far. I have used it to take out household pests (very few seen since I sprayed 2 weeks ago), mosquitos by spraying plants as directed, even a nest of yellow jackets. I mixed up 2 gallons 2 weeks ago, and still have not used it all up, though it has been used inside and outside of my home. I may never use all 3/4 of a gallon, so careful not to overbuy as I have done, unless friends can use it as well.

I had tried all the commercially available pest controls with little to no results. Our problem was with the little black ants or slab ants. After any amount of rain we would see ants in the house at the doorways, by the windows and in the kitchen by the dishwasher. After using Talstar P as directed, I have not seen any ants in the house. We have had a few days of rain lately but still are ant free after three weeks from initial application. This product worked for us!

mosquitos love me and i just couldn't spray myself down with enough deet. sprayed Talstar P on about an acre and a half 3 weeks ago and seems to still be working pretty well, even after a couple of pretty good rains. just hoping for a little relief, the first two weeks were unbelievable. nary a bite and no buzzing past the ears while i'm trying to hit golf balls after work. if i have to spray every 3 or 4 weeks to have my freedom back, so be it. a very small price to pay in my opinion. bought mine on sale for 55.00 but after using it i would not hesitate to pay the 90.00 reg. price. plain and simple, it works.

I was desperate to get rid of the ants that had infested our home. We had two different pest control companies come, but they were unable (or unwilling?) to make a dent in the ant population. We tried boric acid and all the remedies we could find at the home building stores. I found this site and, after reading the reviews, decided to try Talstar P. I applied the Talstar as directed (simple to do), all the way around the house and the cracks and crevices inside. Within two days, all evidence of ant activity was gone!! I had CUPS of dead ants to clean up, but am sooooo glad to be ant-free!

I do already have terminex as a preventative, and they did their best to deal with the issues, coming to our home weekly. I find a couple springtails here and there in the home near windows, but nothing like before. I would definitely recommend this product.

I have been using Talstar One at my Florida home for about 8 years. We had an ant problem and our exterminator could not correct the problem. As a matter of fact they didn't renew our contract because we called them too many times. We went to a store that specialized in pest control products. They recommended Talstar One and instructed us on the best way to use the product. The problem was corrected almost immediately. I recently purchased Talstar One for use at my Michigan home. I'm sure that the product will be just as effective.

I bought this because a friend recommended it. It worked wonderful after one application. I had ants at the basement, moths on the basement door, and spiders nesting on the front porch. Now, all my problems are solved with one application. I even sprayed inside the basement, no odor and dead bugs the next morning. Good stuff.

Works good for Ants, does pretty good on Mosquitoes but has not made any noticable impact on Gnats. I was referred to this product while doing a search on Gnat control. I have sprayed once a week since I received the product. Probably won't buy again as this same control can be accomplished with triazicide granules and apllied faster and with less gear.

We just moved into our brand new home so I was short on cash and needed some pesticide control. Found this site and read the reviews on talstar. The reviews were correct, this stuff is great. The yard was overrun with crickets, ants and spiders. After treating the inside and out it is a rare thing to see any of these critters alive. The ones I do see are on their way out. Here in Ft Worth tx we have every creepy crawler you can imagine and this stuff gave me back control. Wear a mask while spraying, after it's dry no problem with smell, pets or kids.

My fiance and I used the Talstar on the 14 acre residential farmette we are getting married on. We sprayed on Talstar on Saturday and Sunday (a week before the wedding) and on Sunday evening we noticed significantly less creatures. When reading through the Talstar booklet no where does it indicate exactly how to apply the product. We bought a bug sprayer from a local hardware store and mixed the Talstar concentrate with water. Then we sprayed the fields on the farm and patio. The wedding is in five days and the booklet claims this product will keep pests away for one month. We'll see how the wedding goes on Saturday.
