Taurus SC Termiticide is not labeled to be applied on plants at all. It should only be applied 1 ft up and 1 ft out topically to the exterior of a structure or in trenched, rodded or drilled holes for a termite application. Please refer to the product label for complete application and mixing instructions.
Taurus SC Termiticide is labeled for yellow jackets and can be sprayed in eaves and around openings to help eliminate them.

Taurus SC Termiticide can only be used outside as a perimeter spray for roaches. If you already have an infestation in your home you would want to go with one of our Roach Control Kits for the quickest and best results.
You should not consume any edible vegetation that has come in direct contact with Taurus SC Termiticide. General rule of thumb is that you should keep Taurus SC treatments at least 10 feet away from any edible vegetation and you should discard anything that may be contaminated with a direct spray.
Taurus SC Termiticide should be applied in a trench around the pads and any other foundation where the soil touches.
Taurus SC is not labeled for mole crickets. You cannot use Taurus SC out in the lawn as this type of treatment is prohibited by the Taurus product label. Taurus can only be used on or within one foot of a structure. We have a great Treatment Guide for Mole Crickets here.
Yes, Taurus SC Termiticide can be applied one foot up and one foot out directly up against the structure for crawling insect control foundation barrier. Termite applications should be done by trenching and drilling concrete to disperse the product.
Yes Taurus SC can be sprayed around your house. It should be applied up against the structure in a trench for termites and/or topically for ant control directly against the foundation using a hand pump sprayer.
Taurus SC Termiticide is not labeled for fire ants. Depending if you are doing a broadcast or individual mound treatment, we would recommend using Talstar P or Talstar Xtra Granules for fire ant control. Taurus SC Termiticide treatment can be spread across several days as long as it does not rain and the trench can be filled in prior to rain.
We recommended that you keep pets out of the area while applying Taurus SC. Once the product has dried completely, it is safe for pets to return to the area.
Taurus SC Termiticide can be used for carpenter bees in localized areas. The mixing rate is 0.8 fl oz per gallon of water. This can be done twice a year at this rate.
Connecticut is one of the strictest states regarding limiting purchase and application of insecticide concentrates by persons without a Pest Control Operator's license. Two great options for ant control that include a non-repellent active ingredient are Arilon Insecticide (like a sprayable bait), or Transport Mikron Insecticide (dual-active ingredient). Taurus SC is really only labeled to be used outdoors around the perimeter of a structure. If you need to treat floor joists in a crawl space, a product like Bora-Care would be a better option. Bora-Care can be sprayed, brushed or foamed onto bare wood surfaces and voids, where it will be absorbed throughout the wood, rather than just treating the surface like Taurus would do.
Taurus SC Termiticide is not labeled for fire ants. The application ratio for carpenter ants is 0.80 fl oz per gallon of water to make a 0.06% solution. You can use this solution twice per year.
Taurus SC Termiticide when applied as directed will not harm ornamentals.
