Quality at a good price

After experiencing severe termite damage, I tried several local and online companies for advice and products. I have yet to find another source for termite control products that has lower prices and a quality support staff. Products like Taurus put a quick end to the termites that were in the walls and killed/repelled any further attacks. I always received my products in several days without a problem. I also highly recommend the flea aerosols.

Great for fire ants & crazy ants

We purchased this product last year and this year to treat Crazy Ants. When use as directed this product is safe and does the job. We have a very decorative backyard with lots of Flagstone and a small pond. We are very careful with insecticides in our yard due to the pond and several butterfly bushes and plants. We have had Landscaping light Transformers ruined due to ant activity but not anymore. This company is very helpful and knowledgeable on this product. Be very careful and use as directed and you will be bug free without hurting your pocketbook!

Excellent for controlling ants!

We've had carpenter ants since we moved into our home 7 years ago. I had tried the hardware store products, but they were ineffective. This stuff WORKS! I mixed it as directed and sprayed around the perimeter of my foundation, and deck. A few days later, there were no ants, none. It's been weeks, and they're still gone. I am so happy with this product. It's a great value and actually does the job. Wish I had found this site and product a few years ago.

First Rate

Applied per the directions, Taurus SC is a superb insecticide. I used it to treat two oak trees for carpenter ants. It works well at the lowest concentration and took about a week to eliminate the infestation. Use 0.8 ounces per gallon. Higher is not needed. Be patient after treating.

Black ants

My friend called me,said she had black ants in her house. She's older and can't do much. I ordered Taurus sc termiticide & sprayed all around her house & trees. It's been three weeks & no ants. Also sprayed my house. I used this about four years ago for termites in siding on my garage & haven't seen any yet. Received product very quickly.

I am fighting Alleghany Mound ants (for 8+ years)...with a variety of 'big box store' remedies, being careful to 'rotate' the chemistry involved...I finally ran out of options. I combined the Taurus SC perimeter treatment WITH the granular bait product recommended by the person I chatted/brainstormed with at DoMyOwn. One month later--all great. I think the right products (2 above) combined with a several day 'no rain' time' probably the longer the better--for 'full strength' impact--were the keys to success.

This is my first purchase from Do My Own and the products and prices are very good. I bought this product because it is the same as what my local exterminator uses. I only used it today even though I got it a month ago. My local exterminator guarantees his work for a year and this year was the only time I had him come back. I am using this in addition to what he does cause I hat carpenter ants. Don't hesitate to buy this the shipping is very quick and with common sense the product is very safe and effective.

I have battled crazy ants for approximately two-years, I had even paid a pest control service multiple times to get rid of my ant problem without results. Within 24-hours of applying Taurus SC to my driveway the ants are gone! I would highly recommend!

Product was awesome, it did exactly what it said it would. Our house was over-run by ants, we could not figure out where they were coming from. I applied the Taurus SC and in 1 day we could see the difference, 3 days the ants are gone. Wonderful product.

The professional exterminator I used previously, told me this is what he used (he used the 'brand' name, not the generic, but the active ingredient is exactly the same). I just used this and hopefully my house will continue to be ant free. I originally contacted an exterminator in December when ants were in my closet & living room! He sprayed and they were all gone the next day! That's why I'm going to continue to use this as a preventative.

if you have ants or termites, you won t for long.. this stuff is DEADLY to them. And it gets every last one... I poured a single cap full on top of a huge Fire ant mound.. the next day, all were dead, I dug 3 feet down.. not one survivor..and 3 other mounds in the yard were dead too.. GREAT STUFF

We live behind a green belt and large carpenter ants started popping up in my kitchen and master bedroom a few weeks ago. My first instinct was the call a pest control company. They came out, couldn't find any signs of a nest or trail, yet came up with a $400 quote to spray our exterior. I couldn't believe it! I'm glad I trusted my gut, and called BS on the quote they gave. Instead I did some research and found this site and this product! While waiting for it to be delivered over about a 5 day period I started searching for where they were coming from, turns out they were living in the supporting post holding our deck! It has since been 5 days since I sprayed the foundation as well as our deck and the openings in the post, by day 3 I had completely stopped seeing ants on the pole, around the house and outside. This has been a lifesaver!

Fipronil

Either Taurus SC or Termidor due to their 9.1% content of the chemical Fipronil is a real problem solver for colony insects. This chemical is truly excellent because of the transfer effect that eliminates the entire colony of pests in a short period of time. I thought that nothing could equal the effectiveness of Chlordane that has been banned for termite treatments since 1988 for termite protection until this chemical became available in the US. We have found that Fipronil does a better job without the health dangers of other the other chemicals available in the past. Always follow the directions exactly.

Good Stuff

I have been using Taurus SC for a few years for a multitude of pest control. There is no odor. I recently used it to treat a spot infestation of termites after discovering a plumbing leak. Like usual, I was not disappointed in the results.

Taurus SC is by far the best insect spray I've ever used. After repeatedly spraying for ants coming into our home, a friend recommended it. I used it one time and it's kept them away for two years. Now it's time to spray again. I also sprayed out back where we had ticks and the dogs have been tick free ever since.
