    Q
Can Tempo SC Ultra be used on home ceilings for flies?
Would too much residue land on floor and walls from spray? We have a retreat center across from a horse boarding facility and experience horrible fly problem inside our dorm buildings. That is where the flies land.
    A

Tempo SC Ultra is applied to indoor cracks and crevices only, not as a space spray, per product label instructions. There would be too much getting on the floor when treating the ceiling. Suspend SC is labeled for treating ceilings. Please refer to the product label for specific application instructions. We would suggest applying a drop cloth on the floor while applying so that nothing gets on the floor surfaces.

    Q
Will Tempo SC Ultra treat yellow jackets in a wall?
    A
Tempo SC Ultra can be applied in a wall void, but dust products are much better suited for flying insects. Our most popular dust  for bees/wasp is Tempo Dust.  You will need a hand duster to apply it with.  It usually works within 24 to 48 hours. You want to go up to the opening where they are flying in and out of at dusk or at night when they are not active and puff twice directly into the hole.  Then pull the duster out and puff directly at the hole to cover the opening from about 5 inches away.  This is the most efficient and fastest way to eliminate a bee/yellow jacket/wasp nest.

    Q
How long after a rain do I need to wait to apply Tempo SC?
I'm hosting a party and want to spray my yard. It rained overnight and could possibly rain in the afternoon before the party. Wondering if the product will still work or if it is better to wait.
    A
Tempo SC Ultra will hold up very well in the rain, but you just need to apply it when it is not going to rain for about 3 to 4 hours so it has time to dry and set.

  • Asked by Brian from Julian Ca.

    Q
How do we treat for bees around our pool?
I need something that will leave a residue to fend them off, yet, not stain concrete
    A
To treat bees around your pool, you want to use a product like Tempo SC Ultra. Tempo SC Ultra will leave a non staining residual in areas treated around your pool. Please keep on mind that this product will kill the bees when they come in contact with the treated areas, but will not stop them from entering. Bees/wasp are attracting to water, because they are looking for water.

  • Asked by Thomas from Ireland
    09/22/2016
    Q
Is Tempo SC the product you spray around windows and doors to keep flies away for 3 months at a time?
    A

Tempo SC Ultra has a residual of 30 days outdoors and 90 days indoors. It is labeled for flies as well. You will use between 8-16 ml per gallon of water.

If you are looking for a 90 day residual indoors and outdoors, we would recommend using Suspend Polyzone. This has an additional polymer in it that protects the product from the outdoor elements.

    Q
What is the residual for Tempo SC Ultra?
I have seen from previous posts that Tempo SC Ultra lasts 30 days outside and 90 days inside. In areas that have been applied (cracks and crevices or areas that can't be washed) does the residue last longer if the area is not washed regularly?
    A

The indoor residual for Tempo SC Ultra is approximately 90 days and the outdoor residual is approximately 30 days.  Even if it has been applied in areas that are undistrurbed, the residual won't last any longer.

  • Asked by Andrew from Bradford, Pa
    04/25/2018
    Q
How would I apply the Tempo SC Ultra to large ash trees to kill emerald ash borer beetle?
If not could you suggest a liquid that could work?
    A

Unfortunately, Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to treat for emerald ash borer beetles. We would recommend a systemic product like Annual Tree & Shrub Insect Control Concentrate. According to the product label, this product quickly dissolves in water allowing the insecticide to move through the soil into the root zone. Once in the roots, the insecticide moves up through the tree providing year-long insect control. This product will also provide control to new growth. Drench applications to individual trees will control emerald ash borers. For foliar applications mix 1.5 tsp of this product per 1 gallon of water.
