Temprid FX is a good all-around product that can be used for roach control and a wide variety of insects. Temprid FX needs to be applied on baseboards, cracks and crevices, it can also be used safely in the attic. You will need to keep pets out of the area being treated until it's all completely dry. For a thorough roach control, we recommend using our Roach Control Kit A, not only will you have an insecticide but a bait gel and an insect growth regulator to interrupt their reproductive cycle, it also includes insect glue boards to monitor your treatment. We recommend reading over our Roach Control Treatment Guide for further tips and information.
For rat control, we would recommend using the Protecta Rat Bait Station and Fastrac Blox kit. You'll need to wear gloves when handling the stations as well as the bait. Fill the stations and place at least one on each side of the home, you will need to use either stakes or a concrete block to secure the stations. We recommend reading over our Rat Control Treatment Guide for further tips and information.

You may want to look over our Roach Treatment Guide for more information.
We do not suggest treating damp soil with Temprid FX, Termidor SC, or any other insecticides. For best results, apply in dry conditions and when rain is not expected for 24 hours.
While Temprid FX is labeled to kill fleas, it does not include barns as part of the areas that can be treated with this product. You can use Tempo SC Ultra 32 mL along with NyGuard IGR to help disrupt the life cycle of the fleas or Onslaught Insecticide along with NyGuard IGR. Make sure all food and water troughs are covered or removed and the animals are removed as well. Let the treated areas completely dry before letting the animals back into the barns. For flea treatments, you can retreat every 14 days as needed. We also recommend that the animals get their own flea treatment done as they may also reintroduce fleas back into the barn. We recommend reading over our Flea Treatment Guide for further tips and information.

Temprid FX Insecticide is not specifically labeled for chiggers. Onslaught is a great product for chigger control. Treatments for chiggers should begin in April/May and could/need to continue through the summer as new chiggers move into the area. Treating the entire lawn is of little benefit because chiggers avoid direct sunlight and normally will not infest areas that are mowed or otherwise well maintained. Focus treatment on the unkempt areas of the lawn and lawn edge. You can also use Onslaught to do a barrier treatment around the outside of your home and in your crawl space to stop pests from moving indoors.

Temprid FX is a really great product to use for roaches. The product contains two active ingredients that offer a quickdown and also a residual. When dealing with a roach infestation, you will need to be sure to eliminate the food and water source for the roaches and use an insecticide, a roach gel bait, and an insect growth regulator (IGR) labeled for roaches to completely eradicate the population. Please take a few moments to view our article on How to Get Rid of Roaches for more information.
