For rat control, we would recommend using the Protecta Rat Bait Station and Fastrac Blox kit. You'll need to wear gloves when handling the stations as well as the bait. Temprid FX Insecticide is a great product for roaches and should do a good job towards helping you eliminate the infestation. However, if the infestation is severe, it should not be the sole product used. We would recommend using one of our Roach Control Kits for best results. We do not suggest treating damp soil with Temprid FX, Termidor SC, or any other insecticides. For best results, apply in dry conditions and when rain is not expected for 24 hours.
While Temprid FX is labeled to kill fleas, it does not include barns as part of the areas that can be treated with this product. You can use Tempo SC Ultra 32 mL along with NyGuard IGR to help disrupt the life cycle of the fleas or Onslaught Insecticide along with NyGuard IGR. Make sure all food and water troughs are covered or removed and the animals are removed as well. Let the treated areas completely dry before letting the animals back into the barns. For flea treatments, you can retreat every 14 days as needed. We also recommend that the animals get their own flea treatment done as they may also reintroduce fleas back into the barn. No, Temprid FX Insecticide cannot be used on impervious surfaces. You can apply the product around the pavers, however.
Temprid FX Insecticide is not labeled to be used on or around anything edibles. You should keep applications outside of the dripline on fruit trees and at least 15 feet away from anything edible such as vegetables and herbs just to avoid any contact. Since it does contain a systemic active ingredient it can be absorbed by the roots if it gets down to them on the fruit trees, it would not be recommended to consume anything from the the tree for at least a growing season to be safe.
