    Per the Temprid SC product label: If on skin:

    If on skin:  • Take off any contaminated clothing.
                     • Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15 to 20                         minutes.
                     • Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

    I have sprayed Temprid SC twice at 7 day intervals and still seeing bed bugs. Is this normal?

    Please keep in mind that it does take time to eradicate bed bugs.  Temprid should be applied every 7-10 days until you have been able to go a full 30 days with no new bites and no signs of bed bug activity.  Please look over our Bed Bug Treatment Guide for more information.

    Do I have to bag clothing before spraying Temprid in a room?
    I have a baby and a large house to spray. Is the spray able to get into cupboards and onto clothing? If so how does one effectively remove product from clothing? Specifically baby blankets and the like

    Temprid SC Insecticide should only be used along baseboard areas and in cracks and crevices.  It would not be applied into cupboards or on clothing/blankets.  Remove items from the floor areas to avoid contact and wash thoroughly if there is accidental contact.  Once dry it is safe for people to return to the area and items can be put back.

    Will Temprid SC eliminate Box Elder Bugs?
    Can I use in a hose end sprayer? How is it mixed?
    A

    Yes, Temprid SC Insecticide is labeled to control boxelder bugs. It is mixed at 0.27-0.54 oz. (8-16 milliliters) per gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft area. Temprid can be used inside of a hose end sprayer. Be sure to check the settings for the correct dosage you are using.

    What is the half life of Temprid SC Insecticide in plants and in soil?
    The pest control company came and sprayed my patio areas along the walls and wooden fences, and the soil near the fence. Will my edible plants that were in the general vicinity need to be destroyed? He sprayed over some of the leaves of a branch of my pomegranate bush by accident. Will these be systemic and stay for years in the plant? Should I stop watering the area to prevent its spread? The yard is partial sun and we have very hot dry weather in the high 90s. Should I remove all plants from the area? Very concerned. Thanks!

    Temprid SC Insecticide can  up to 5-7 years in the soil.  Anything edible that was sprayed would need to be discarded and not consumed.  If just the leaves were sprayed (no fruit/edibles) it would not be absorbed as a systemic throughout the plant and last.  Once the treated area has dried it will not move from the surface it was applied to and has up to 30 day residual.

    Can Temprid SC Insecticide be used in cabinets?
    A

    Temprid SC Insecticide can be applied inside cabinets as a spot application to the cracks and crevices and around plumbing. If spraying in cabinets where eating utensils are kept, you would need to remove all items, thoroughly clean the cabinets and let the application completely dry before putting dishes or eating utensils back into the drawers.

    Can you use Tandem a week after Temprid SC Insecticide was applied?
    A

    They each have a 90 day interior crack and crevice residual and 30 day exterior residual. It would not be advised or necessary to apply Temprid SC Insecticide and Tandem within a week. We recommend waiting until it is time for the next application to alternate between the two.

    What external and internal products are recommended for both exterior and interior application for ants, roaches and spiders?
    We also have Cypress Beams on our outside porch (central FL) and something is eating them. How do we determine what it is and how do we get rid of it?
    A

    We carry many great liquid insecticide concentrates for interior and exterior applications to eradicate ants, roaches and spiders. We would recommend applying Temprid SC monthly outside and once every three months indoors. I have included some great articles for treatment of the insects that you are treating. Baiting is key with ants and roaches. I have also included the link to get a pest identification of the insect in the beams. Once we know what insect you are treating in that area, we will be able to make a product recommendation.

    Can you pair Temprid SC with a fogger?
    I was considering pairing Temprid SC with a flee/tick fogger because Temprid SC cannot be applied directly to open carpet, which is where fleas may be harboring. Would the products counter act? Is it only necessary to use Temprid SC to kill a flea infestation?
    A

    Temprid SC is only an indoor crack and crevice application. Flea treatments should be an open floor broadcast with a product labeled for such treatment. We would recommend applying a product that can be broadcast indoors for flea treatments such as our Outdoor/Indoor Flea Kit or Alpine Insecticide Aerosol with IGR.     Can Temprid SC be applied to vents and electrical sockets?
    A
    It is not recommended by the manufacturer of Temprid SC to apply the product where electrical shock hazards exist. We would recommend applying Alpine Dust to voids and electrical outlets and lightswitch plates for various insects.

    Worried about food I left in apartment while exterminator sprayed Temprid
    My landlord did an inside perimeter spray with Temprid SC, and I left some food in the apartment away from the floor. Is my food safe?

    Is there any way you could find out exactly where the Temprid SC Insecticide was applied? If you have fruits or breads out up on a counter there should not be any problem.     We are unsure of your friends local regulations but here in the United States it is perfectly legal for people to use these professional products on their own home or property without a pest control applicators license.

    How much Temprid SC do I put in 5 gallons of water?

    You will mix 8-16ml of Temprid SC per gallon of water for most applications. For 5 gallons this would equal 40-80 ml per 5 gallons of water. Please refer to the product label for specific mixing instructions for the pest that you are targeting

    Looking for product advice to use for pest control in Atlanta
    Looking for product advice to use for pest control in Atlanta - i have termite service, so don't need help there but for general pest control in Atlanta area - also, have a child in the house who is crawling so need to be cautious of what to use. (silver fish, roaches, ants etc)

    Our most popular general use product is called Talstar.  It is widely used by pest control companies because it is labeled for almost every insect you could have a problem with and you can use it outside the home as well as inside, it is odorless and very safe for use around children and pets.  It is a liquid concentrate that you mix with water in a one gallon hand pump sprayer.  It will last for 60 to 90 days outside in between treatments.  It is also labeled for lawn and ornamental use, and can be used on trees, plants, bushes and shrubs for all sorts of ornamental pests including Japanese beetles, mosquitoes, and other leaf eating pests. Talstar is also available in a granule formula called Talstar PL if you prefer to use granules. Also, we are located in Norcross, Ga. if you would like to come pick up the product.

    Should I use Temprid SC when treating the perimeter of the house for other bugs after doing a termite treatment with Dominion 2L?
    I treated my house with Dominion 2L using the trenching method for termites. Will using a repellent reduce the efficacy of Dominion 2L on termites?

    If the soil was treated topically with Dominion 2L within the past six months, I would wait to apply the Temprid SC up against the structure in the same area. If the area was treated prior to that time, you can apply Temprid SC for a perimeter treatment for the other insects that crawl on top of the soil.
