    Q
Accidentally mixed weaker solution 4 ml per gallon on the third application. What should we do?
On the first application we mixed 16 ml per gallon. Then 2 weeks later we mixed and applied 8 ml per gallon. Bedbugs have been mostly eliminated, but still find very small ones in sticky traps, so we went with a third application after 8 more days. But I got confused and mixed it at 4ml per gallon and have done the whole house. Should I reapply another 4 ml per gallon mix?
    A
Yes, you should make a second application of 4 ml Temprid SC Insecticide per gallon water. If it has already been 7-8 days after the first application with 4ml go ahead and apply 16 ml per gallon water.

    Q
My dog was exposed to Temprid and displays signs of nervous system damage. Will the symptoms dissapate?
    A
We are sorry to hear that your dog may be having complications. Normally, after dilution, Temprid is not strong enough to harm dogs. Since, it appears he is showing signs of sensitivity, we recommend to contact the dogs vet immediately.

    Q
What is the strongest most effective chemical to kill bed bugs?
I have used temprid SC for about 8 treatments. most bugs appear to have been killed I am still seeing some new activity we recently moved I don't know if I have disturbed colonies that were dormant or if I had inherited some new ones. from what I have read it may be wise to switch to another poison or use two poisons I am almost out of time. I need to buy some more so I need some direction please as for proneness please believe me I have been extremely thorough. I have also used two packs of the nuvon strips in blue tubs. the items in the blue tubs have been in there for over a month. I have some clothing in black plastic bags that have not been treated yet but have not been opened yet either. before I revisit the tubs for the bags I wish to make sure I have an all clear in my new house.

While, Temprid SC is the best liquid insecticide to use for treating bedbugs, it will not treat an infestation alone. Please take a look at our Bed Bug Kit #2 or Bed Bug Kit #3 . These kits contain all the necessary products to fully treat and eradicate a bedbug infestation.

Temprid SC or Fenvastar EcoCap is mixed in a 1 gallon sprayer and applied around the perimeter of the room(s) along baseboards, floorboards, headboards and walls.

Cimexa Dust is applied to wall voids, inside box spring, crack and crevices where bedbugs can't go (behidn picture frames, under furniture, cracks of dresser drawers, join cracks and hollow tubing of bed frames, etc) - Only need a fine coating, do not over dust. Using 2oz of dust per 100sq ft, 1/4oz of dust to each wall void. How to Apply Dust Article here

Bedlam - Spot Treatments on mattresses, upholstered furniture, drawers, bed frames, carpeted areas, and curtains. Provides contact kill and leaves 2 week residual.

Steri-Fab - Alcohol based contact kill that does not leave any residual after it is dry making it safe for comforters, mattresses, sheets, cushions, dog beds etc.

Bellow Hand Duster - used to apply dust to crack & crevice, under baseboars, box springs. Fill 1/2 way with dust, not to the top b/c it needs air to pump the dust out.

  • Asked by Stephanie from Hagerstown
    09/02/2014
    Q
How long after being mixed can Temprid be used
    A
You would want to use within 24 hours after mixing with water.  You should not store diluted Temprid SC (or most other diluted insecticides for that matter) for more than 24 hours because the acids in the water will start to degrade the product making it ineffective. Leftover dilution can be disposed of by pouring it out right up against the  foundation of your structure outside.

    Q
Should I scrub cabinets down before or after treatment with Temprid SC? also, floors and baseboards?
    A
Temprid SC Insecticide works best when applied to an area that has already been cleaned. This will allow for the insecticide to get into the cracks and crevices.  Be sure to follow the product label for correct areas of application.

  • Asked by Kenny from Tifton Ga
    09/13/2014
    Q
I want to do regular monthly pest control in my hotel in Tifton, GA area for one whole year.
If you can suggest pesticides to be used to spray each month and which proportion I can buy kit for whole year and do my own pest control every year. I am having hotel with 70 units in Tifton,GA. I hired pest control company, but they cannot control some pests in rooms like spider, ants and roaches and service is poor. Pl comment and give me detailed layout for year from Jan 2015 till Dec 2015. My hotel in exterior corridor hotel.
    A

We would recommend using Temprid SC. It has two different active ingredients in it which provide a powerful and effective residual and a quick knockdown. If the infestation is bad, we would recommend using 16 mL per gallon of water and if it is moderate/low, use 8 mL per gallon of water. It does last for up to 90 days indoors and 30 days outdoors. It is labeled for ants, roaches, spiders and various other pests as well. When spraying indoors, you will spray along the baseboards and cracks and crevices. When spraying outdoors, you will spray around the perimeter of the structure.

Another good thing to prevent pests would be to dust inside the wall voids. You will take off the light sockets and electrical outlets. This will create more of a long term treatment for various pests. You will use a hand duster and do a couple of puffs per outlet/socket. We would recommend using Delta Dust. It is waterproof so if it gets what for any reason, it will still work. Also, it lasts inside the wall voids for up to 8 months if it is undisturbed.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Q
Is Temprid SC safe to use around cows and dogs?
I have a lot of ants and spiders. Would this be a good item for that?
    A
Yes, Temprid SC is an excellent insecticide. It can be sprayed around the perimeter of your home and areas where the pests have been seen. Once the product is dry, it is safe for dogs and cows to return to the area. We would not recommend spraying when your animals are around. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Q
    Mixing Products
Since Dominion 2L Termiticide and Cy-Kick CS Combined have the same active ingredients can I mix them and have it be the same as temprid to treat bedbugs? Seems like mixing these 2 would be cheaper but I have not done the math yet
    A
Although, the products may be similar, Dominion cannot be used indoors. Temprid up front is the best product for bed bugs. It looks like a pricey product, but actually, it makes alot. For Example, the 400ML bottle will give you approx. 40 gal mixed solution.

    Q
I left Temprid in the trunk of my car on a 95 degree day. Could this ruin it and cause it to be ineffective?
    A
If the Temprid was only left in the hot weather for a day or so, the effectiveness of it will not be deplenished. The shelf life would only be affected if you were permanently storing it in those types of conditions over an extended period of time.

    Temprid odor
When I first used Temrid it had a very strong odor and its vapor stung my eyes. I stored the bottle in a dark temperature controlled room for a few months and am using it again. However, now the odor is gone. Has my Temrpid gone bad?
    A

Temprid SC has a shelf life on 3-5 years. If it is kept out of extreme temperatures then it is fine. There should not be a strong odor. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

  • Asked by Mildred from Phillipsburg, Nj

    Q
What will kill bat bugs (not bed bugs)?
My daughter had a couple bats get into her bedroom. Now she has an invasion of bat bugs. She has tried everything but nothing will kill them. Can you help?
    A
Bat bugs are treated very similar to bed bugs. Bats are their preferred host, but this does not negate them from humans. They do tend to come once the bats are gone because they are looking for a host. We would recommend using Temprid SC as a treatment for the rooms. You will mix 16 mL per gallon of water and treat in the room that has the bugs as well as all the surrounding rooms to prevent them from spreading. This will be applied with a pump sprayer. You will do this every 10-14 days until you do not see any activity for 30 days. We would also recommend using Cimexa Dust in the wall voids. You will do a couple of puffs per wall outlet and light plate with a hand duster. You will do this in all the wall voids of the home.

Temprid SC can also be sprayed outdoors around the perimeter of the structure. You will mix 8 mL per gallon of water in a pump sprayer. Temprid SC will last up to 90 days indoors and 30 days outdoors.
