Tenacity Herbicide is not labeled to treat poa trivialis. Please provide your desired turfgrass for an alternate recommendation. Thank you!
Yes, you can apply Tenacity just before or at the time of seeding for best results. Be sure that you are not using Tenacity at the same time as seeding if the grass is more than 20% hard or fine fescue.
Tenacity Herbicide is labeled to suppress poa annua when used as a pre-emergent. Please provide your desired turf grass for seeding details. Thank you!
Tenacity Herbicide is labeled to be safely applied to fine fescue and is not labeled to kill it so we cannot recommend it for that use. When you are trying to remove another cool season turf type from KGB the best option is to use a product like Roundup Quikpro (or non selective/glyphosate) and then re-seed with your KBG.
Tenacity Herbicide only lists on the label that seashore paspalum is sensitive to it. It is not however labeled for use on St Augustine lawns so would not be recommended. It can only be used on St Augustine grown for sod.
There is not a set flow rate for applying the Tenacity Herbicide. You just need to apply at the rates on the label for your turfgrass and application type.
Tenacity Herbicide is a herbicide only and will not work as a fungicide. Clearys 3336F is a great product to use for brown patch as directed on the product label.
Tenacity is only going to suppress poa annua when used as a pre-emergent for it. You would really only use Tenacity as a pre-emergent over the entire lawn if you are needing a pre-emergent to use at the same time as seeding or over-seeding. Otherwise, ProGrass would be a better choice for poa annua control and for use on established perennial ryegrass.
No Tenacity is not labeled for Hippuris Vulgaris (Mares tail). Crossbow Herbicide is labeled for marestail. Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.
Tenacity Herbicide is our most popular product for eliminating bentgrass from other desirable turfgrasses, but it does typically require multiple applications. Late summer/fall applications will be more effective than spring applications. If you are able to spot treat with RoundUp QuikPro, that is another option. It would still be ideal to wait at least 10-14 days after applying the Roundup QuikPro before raking out the dead plants and re-seeding those areas.
Tenacity Herbicide is safe to be used only on dormant Bermuda lawns. Please refer to the product label for application instructions and mix rates.
