No, Termidor SC is not labeld for Carpet Beetles and can only be used indoors for active termite treatments. Adult carpet beetles are most commonly found outside so if you have not treated outside or inspected for areas where they could be nesting, we recommend treating there as well. They feed on pollen and nectar, but lay eggs in bird, rodent, bee, or wasp nests or old spider webs to give the larvae an abundant food source. Clearing these away from your home, along with checking near highly pollinating plants near your house and checking cut flowers for the beetles before bringing them inside.
To access the area under the cabinets you can also use Delta Dust and apply with a bellow hand duster to the cracks and crevices under the cabinets and inside the closed area underneath. You only need a light coating but this will last 6-8 months in undisturbed areas. As the carpet beetle larvae hatch and/or crawl out of the cabinet area, they will come in contact with the dust. This would give better results then spraying inside with the Suspend SC.
Adding Gentrol IGR (insect growth regulator) will also stop the growth of the immature stages of the carpet beetle and can be mixed in right along with your Suspend SC in a 1 gallon pump sprayer. Mix 1oz Gentrol with 1 oz of Supsend SC with 1 gallon of water.
Spray along the floorboards under the cabinets, closets, corners, etc and let it completely dry. After the liquid has dried, come back and apply the Delta Dust. We have a great video here that will show you how to apply to wall voids and hard to reach areas.
