    Container/dispenser

    By Mike on 11/03/2023

Easy to mix, but instructions are a little vague. I learned , (on the second bottle), you don't need to take the cap off the main spout to tilt, measure, and pour the stuff, and you can't tilt it too much when pouring. I have treated around the inside vents with something meant for indoor vents, and filled a trough 6”deep by 6””width around my foundation. I don't know it it works or not really. I haven't seen any ants or termites since treatment.

    Great Product!

    By Alisha on 07/13/2012

Read other reviews...it works!!! The prep-work required for professionals was the same for DIY. We chose to DIY with TERMIDOR, after all the pro's use it. Ideally, one should do it around the whole house. We ran into problems of water line leaks, sprinkler leaks. We were able to do this in sections waiting for ground to dry. Section where termites were found, no evidence within a few days. Now that the perimeter has pvc pipes using the plugs, we will be able to treat easily from now on. I haven't seen any ants either. Another HUGE plus. Looks like I might be canceling our pest control service.

    Outstanding results on carpenter ants

    By Bob on 06/09/2015

    Verified Purchase

Large cedar sided home in a heavily wooded large lot. Every year the carpenter ants seem to find a new way in. I have been using Advance granules for about 10 years (from dmopc) and although it worked it was a battle. After my last bottle of Advance ran out I decided to try Termidor. The results have been outstanding. I never knew there were so many ants in some of my hot spots. They were all over the place DEAD. Great product, easy to use, well priced, and a safe choice. Read the reviews. You won't be disappointed.

    Swarm no more

    By Tom on 04/17/2016

First of all DMOPC is a stand up company. USPS crushed the first bottle. I mean it looked like they ran over the package. Half gone I called these folks and another bottle was in the mail immediately. We had a very active hive under the house. Total nightmare. Spent two days drilling holes and crawling through the crawlspace. Two weeks later there is not a single termite to be seen (knock on uninfested wood). Huge sigh of relief. We will be re-applying. Thank you.

Texas - Rasberry ant issue - solved for now

    By Jay on 09/25/2012

I had a major infestation in Fort Bend County with crazy ants. Not knowing what they were, I was fighting them with regular spraying with LESCO CrossCheck (Talstar) and granules. They would come back with a vengeance after each rain. I learned from an electrician who was working on my house that these were "Rasberry ants" and he said good luck getting rid of them as he had seen an explosion of these pests recently in our area. I found through my research the TAMU webpage dedicated to this pest: http://urbanentomology.tamu.edu/ants/rasberry.html. This pest is not be trifled with, my fooling around with Talstar this summer saw these ants grow in number and streaming in through minute cracks in the caulking near my dryer vent and A/c piping. I normally get 2-3 red ant "issues" each summer. These ants chased out the red ants. I sprayed the 1' up and 1' out method as in the label. I think you need a professional licence for the section 18 exemption label method of 3' up and 10' out as listed in the TAMU site. It worked wonders, all ant activity "died out" in 48 hrs. I further used Talstar granules on the mulch nesting sites two weeks after spraying with Termidor. My recommendations for other fellow Texans battling crazy ants: 1) Read up about your adversary on the TAMU link above. It will help put your struggle in perspective. Nothing you have done in the past will help you with this pest. Note: These ants nest outside in mulch and other wet and moist places. Follow the ant trails back to their nesting sites. 2) Buy this product from this site, for price (its not cheaper anywhere else) and speed of shipping. 3) Invest in a brand new sprayer. This product is non-repellent, keep it that way by using a clean new sprayer. 4) Wear long gloves, long sleeves, pants, shoes with socks pulled up on to the pants and eye protection. 6) Mix exactly per directions, do not shake the concentrate violently before spraying as it will froth up and throw you measurements off. 7)Fill your (new) sprayer with water before adding the product, this thing is like soap and froths up. After you close you sprayer shake it well before you start spraying. Wash your equipment thoroughly, in an area not draining into the street, storm water drain OR water body. 8) Wait. This stuff takes time, it says up to 90 days for termites, my infestation was gone in 48 hrs. 9) Use your preferred contact kill insecticide on the nesting sites. Please include any improvements/corrections you make to the steps above in your reviews

    So Far, So Good!

    By Marcette on 11/10/2015

We mixed a lot and dug a shallow trench around the foundation of the house and poured it in the trench in hopes it sinks down into the soil. We have both termites and ants, but our main concern was ants. We had a pest control service for 3 months and so far these past three weeks after our Termidor application have provided better ant control than the pest control company provided (the ants came back within a week with the pest control company doing it). Due to the horrible problem we had, we intend to do this again soon just like the pest control companies, but the cost savings is amazing and so far results have been better!

    Termidor SC

    By Residential on 11/16/2015

I am very happy with the website and the store. The price was good and the shipping was great. I can't really rate the product. I purchased and applied the product as instructed. I rented a heavy-duty impact hammer-drill from Home-Depot for the day for $75. I drilled 1-inch holes around the perimeter of my foundation (i have regular hollow concrete-block). I drilled one hole every 12-inches (1 per block) and inserted a funnel to pour solution. Based on my calculations of the instructions, after dilution 0.8oz per gallon, and 4 gallons every 10 sq/feet, I proceeded to add 1/2 gallon to each hole in the blocks. It appears my home was previously treated (over 30 years ago. I re-tapped the same holes in the foundation from the markings I observed. I hope the termites don't return for another 30 years. I did however find a void outside my home in the space near my outside stoop by the side door leading to the kitchen. I suspect the gap between the stoop and foundation allowed rain water to collect and thus attracted the termites to the area.

    Termite control

    By Elizabeth on 07/17/2014

    Verified Purchase

We dug trenches around my home. I hired 4 boys to help me. It was hard, messy work because of Georgia red clay - yuk! I had no bushes against my home, so I thought it would be a cinch. Well, we ran into cable and tree roots from other areas. Overcame them with 'problem solving ideas' and the whole effort took about 4 hours with 5 people working. DMOPC video was great and immediate delivery was great. I am happy to know my home is protected for 10 years now. Thank you for making this product available. I wish they showed quickly in the video how to tip the bottle and add the 4 -0.8 ozs. to the 4 gallons of water.

    Bye bye ants!!!

    By Jeremy on 08/19/2013

    Verified Purchase

I tried everything from big box stores from baits, granules, sprays, natural remedies like instant grits. Nothing worked and the carpenter ants just would not die. When we had our patio done the contractors just poured concrete over the ants and the ants came up where the concrete meets the house. So for 3 years I been trying to get rid of the ants while squashing them every time I'm outside, I was about to call a professional and looked on the Internet and came across this website and found Termidor SC. The reviews are excellent and after hearing that's what you would get sprayed around your house when calling a pro, but pay more and only get 1 treatment I would rather do it myself and have the bottle to make over 20 more treatments if needed. I bought the $15 1 gallon pump sprayer and it worked flawlessly with it. I was so excite to kill the ants that once I got it from UPS I made a gallon mix and sprayed the perimeter. Unfortunately it rained like 4 hours later so I thought I had to spray again when rain wasn't in forecast for couple days. The amazing thing is that the next day I didn't see a single ant and have not seen one and it's been 3 weeks! I recommend this product 100% and am so glad I have no more ants after trying everything on store shelves. Get this and you won't be disappointed, also buy the $15 1 gallon pump sprayer. Great customer service and fast shipping too from domyownpestcontrol.com Termidor SC rules!!!!!

    Great for Earwigs and Ants!!

    By Matt on 08/06/2015

We had an earwig infestation this year due to a very wet Spring and early Summer. While they don't do any damage, having to constantly shake them out of towels, inspect coffee mugs, etc. was a major pain. You could see them all over our porch and outside of the house in the late evening and in the kitchen and bathrooms in the morning. I put a perimeter spray down (1 foot up and 1 foot out) with the Termidor. I also sprayed higher up the siding and around the inside perimeter of the garage with Bifen IT. That evening, we saw normal earwig activity on the outside and a few inside. The next morning we started noticing dead earwigs on the porch. In 3-4 days, we had virtually zero earwigs. We have also had a lot of ant activity on the house and have noticed zero ants on the siding (and in the house) since the initial application. I will now make this a bi-annual application in the spring and the fall since the residual lasts 4-6 months according to the label.

    Worked for ants!

    By Jim on 09/28/2013

    Verified Purchase

We have a pop up camper that had a problem with ants. There was a section of flooring that had water damage from an apparent leak in the past. Evidently, ants had taken up residence in the floor/walls. We tried putting diatomaceous earth all around the perimeter and the leveling legs where the ants would crawl up to gain entry. Not much help, as we still would find infestation after it would sit unused for a couple of months. Then we tried Terro ant bait liquid. It did kill some ants, but they were still around. Finally, I decided to buy the Termidor after reading positive reviews on DMOPC.com. I mixed up 1 gal of solution and sprayed it all over the outside around the camper, focusing on the contact points with the ground. We waited a couple of days, realizing that the product was supposed to be delayed to allow the pests to carry the pesticide back to the nest to share with their friends. When we went to check on the camper, we didn't notice any live ants crawling around and there were lots of dead ones on the floor. We waited a couple of more days before cleaning out the camper and poping down until the next trip. We swept up all of the dead ants into a pile probably about 3" in diameter. No live ants were found in the popup or around the ground contact points since. Yeah! I'm a believer. I'm going to spray around my detached garage next because I'm always getting various bugs in there.

    Termidor for Ants

    By Moss on 05/23/2013

    Verified Purchase

Ongoing but not severe black ants since we moved into our house in northern California 7 years ago...until this year..we would see more of them during heavy rains..then after a few days they would appear..then disappear...we started to see more of them in both bathrooms and the kitchen..I caulked every crevice I could find..thinking that would help..it didn't ...I was told to use Terro..that it ALWAYS worked..set out multiple traps all over as directed..making sure they were always full..it worked ...for awhile..then the ants were back...it seemed that all I was doing was providing an endless buffet..In April I opened the shower door to see hundreds of ants crawling down the tile..This was the final straw..I told my wife that before I called a pest control company I wanted to do a final internet search..that's when I learned about Termidor..the price gave me pause..50 plus dollars and I needed to purchase a sprayer..but it was either this or a pest control company. After reading all the glowing testimonials on your web site(they sounded genuine)..I decided to take a chance..I applied the product as directed on May 11..within 2 days there was a dramatic reduction in ants.(but..this had also happened many times with the Terro)...within another 2 days there were zero ants anywhere...I really did not believe this product would work..the spray dries on the outside walls and ground leaving no residue making it difficult to believe that the ants could actually track the product to the nest(s)..but..as of May 23 we still have not seen any ants..this is the longest period of being ant free since January...As other readers know..you become so conditioned to seeing ants all the time..that you find it hard to believe that any product will work for long..but thus far it's been successful..initially it seems expensive..but if it continues to work..it will be a bargain..and I still have plenty of the product remaining for future applications..
