I used this, actually less than indicated (I only sprayed the foundation, not 1' on the ground). I had had a problem with carpenter ants for years. Paid an exterminator monthly for years, and still killed 8-10 a week. Sprayed this, and went on vacation. Came back expecting to have to to "clean up". Nothing. Not a single ant, not even any climbing on my deck supports. This stuff is fantastic! 6 weeks since the treatment, and I have killed 1 (one!) ant in the house.

Placing my order was easy, no unreasonable hoops to jump through, and the product was delivered quickly without any hassles whatsoever. Definitely a satisfied customer, will use them again! Oh, and Termidor SC works like a CHAMP. We were infested with ants at every turn, 2 days after application you could not find a single ant anyplace. Awesome product!

Working outside under a tent at fairs, festivals and speciality shows exposes us to a wide variety of creepy, crawly critters. This product keeps them at bay, regardless of the type of bug we encounter, from upstate NY to south FL and many locations between. In addition, we use it in and around our camper for bug free living as we travel. One container last us more than two years, making it very economical as well as effective. We highly recommend it to all our friends and associates.

Had a nasty Carpenter Ant infestation at my apartment. The pest control guy was spraying what you can basically get at Home Depot for killing ants. After research I realized that he was treating incorrectly and you have to use a product designed for this issue and the ants need to be oblivious of it's presence or they will just simply make more workers to replace the dead ones and setup more colonies. I mixed this stuff in a 5 gal bucket and poured it outside around the foundation. Don't get discouraged this is not a kill quick solution.  That's the trick, they take it back to the nest as they do their normal activities and infect the others and the queen. Took about a week but then those damn things were gone.

Being a newbie to the pest control 'world', I first found a local professional pest control supply company in the yellow pages and decided to call for DIY product info. Was told that they only sold to professional exterminator companies, BUT they were good enough to refer me to the Internet (bless their hearts!) and suggested Termidor: as that is what the 'Pros' use.  Called two of the 'major' companies for an on-site free estimate. I proceeded to ask if they used Termidor and the estimator (from the nations largest company) gave me a rather surprised look and said "yes".  Ordered the product and received excellent all-round service: have yet to use so cannot attest to it's merits. I'll report back...

I purchased the product for control of Ants, which I (had) a very big problem with, in the bathroom, bedroom, around toilet, everywhere. No longer, 5 days after and not an Ant to be seen. YEA!

After several e-mails, Michael, at Do My Own Pest Control, recommended Termidor SC for our ant problem. We used it around all the ant sites in our front and back yard. We have quite a bit of stone walkway and stone walls, where the ants seemed to thrive, as well our driveway area. We never quite determined the ant species (carpenter or Argentine fire ants?) BUT, they were all gone the next day, not even any on the peonies! It has been 2 weeks and there is not a sign of an ant. Great stuff! Easy to mix and spray.

I used bait last year with ok results but not 100%. In the spring here, the black ants were out scouting for new nests. Another season had arrived fighting these things. BUT, then came Termidor. Applied around the foundation and a week or so later that was it. I haven't seen a single ant in almost a month. Everyone in my family is using this now. No wonder exterminators don't want you to know about this stuff.

We just bought this mobile home last year and this May we were astounded with the amount of flying termites. They were everywhere, we could not even eat dinner in the kitchen with the light on. We ordered the Termidor and followed the instructions. We went under the home as well as the outside and spot treated inside. Within a week we have seen no more termites. Found some dead roaches as well that did not make it through the Termidor. This stuff really works and I would recommend it highly. There was no smell either and I am sure we saved a lot of money doing it ourselves not to mention, it was done right.

I had ants every where, front yard, back yard, even in the tree's. Sprayed around the outside of my yard and around the outside of the house. Next day all gone and it's been about two weeks and still not a one ant in sight!

We just sprayed the product and so far, we have far fewer ant beds and fewer bugs in general. We don't have termites and hope we never do, using Termidor SC. If it works as well on termites as well as it kills ants and other nuisance insects, it's great. The convenient measuring bottle makes it very easy to mix.

Have had a Carpenter Ant problem from about May to Sept. at my cabin. Last year I tried Dominion 2L and Advance 375 in unison. It did not appear to work. This May I sprayed Termidor SC around the perimeter foundation of my home about 1 foot up and about 1 foot on the ground. Additionally, I sprayed Phantom aerosol inside the home, where the floor meets the walls and in exterior cracks and crevices. I also spread some Advance Carpenter ant bait around the house. A few weeks later I returned and no bugs were moving within about 40 feet of the house. Also, no spiders, ants or other pests were alive inside the home where I sprayed the Phantom. So far it appears to be a deadly combination.

I have purchased the stuff that all the chain stores sells made by Ortho and others. The ants just laugh at me. Well, they aren't laughing any more because they are all dead. Termidor really works when used as directed.

I have been dealing with odorous ants for FOUR MONTHS!  In the kitchen, living room, bathroom, mudroom.. I hired a "professional company" and here I am four months later with ants.  After doing my own research I ordered this out of desperation.  After applying this I saw mounds of dead ants around the outside of my house and haven't seen an ant inside since!!  This saved my life and sanity!  No need to EVER hire an outside company.  That was a waste of money.  Termidor was the best money spent and I still have lots left for my fall application.

I found a trail of carpenter ants from my house, across patio and into grass. Then I lost the trail. Located a cedar tree about 15 feet away and found ants going up and down tree trunk. I sprayed trail across patio and the tree trunk and ground around tree. Have not seen a single carpenter ant since.

i have been battling carpenter ants around my property for 2 years with off the shelf products with no success i ordered termidor after reading a lot of info. online. I treated around my house and directly on 2 large ground nest about 80 yds from my home checked the nest 3 days later and still active i was becoming sceptical 5th day i checked entire nest dead. also i have not even seen 1 carpenter or brown ant for that matter any where outside i am sold!

This stuff is amazing! We actually use it on ants. Spray the line of ants... wait 8-24 hrs. No more ants. Our home gets infested every summer. It would be fair to say... not this summer. Best product I've seen to exterminate ants. Had problems with carpenter ants and "pavement" ants. Has been 2 years and I have not seen a single carpenter ant - except for two dead ones I found under a table. Took care of pavement ants last week. Bye bye! Recommended to two friends (one my boss, so you know I'm going to tell him to purchase a product that works). Both had similar success in getting rid of their ants.

I have used everything in and around my house to get rid of our ants...Sugar water bait stations, peanut butter based gel bait, Home Defense, Andro bait stations, Ortho Max...You name it I have probably used it! All of them would have some results and would kill some them but they would be back in less than a week and in greater numbers than before. It got to the point where they would be any where and every where in our house, and if food was not sealed in a ziploc or an air tight container it the ants would find and be into it within hours. The worse part is they were even in my bed at night and I would wake up because I could feel them crawling on me. I watched the video on the site on where and how to spray and put Termidor SC all around my house (exactly as instructed in the video) and even sprayed it directly on the ant beds outside. In a few hours the ants were gone inside the house and in a day all the ant beds were just dust (NO ANTS). It has been 3 weeks and I have not seen a single ant!

I HAD a problem with carpenter ants traveling from a maple tree to one corner of my home and eventually making their way inside. After trying the standard ant treatments available at big box stores and continuing to see ants, I turned to DoMyOwnPestControl for other options. After reading the reviews for Termidor, I figured it was worth a shot. I sprayed Termidor along the ants' path between the maple tree and my home. For good measure, I also sprayed around my house perimeter. Within a few days I started seeing dead ants, within a week there were no signs whatsoever of ant activity. Almost 3 months later and have not seen a single carpenter ant in or around my home. For me, the results from Termidor have been amazing! I will never go back to anything else for carpenter ant treatment!

i've been in the pest control industry for several years, and any pest tech will tell you that ants are the single most important (and frustrating) pests that we encounter,next to the recent resurgence of bedbugs. when Termidor's label included, among other things, perimeter ant control, we finally have what we'd been dreaming of to combat them. coupled with Phantom for interior work, the one-two punch of these products can't be beat. I received the Termidor SC quickly and applied as instructed on the website (1 ft. up and out around the base of my house) to control ants coming in. In three days, there were no more ants in my home or on the brick outside. The ants still show up at the curb on garbage day and can definitely be seen at my neighbors, but none in my home. The Termidor SC is doing a great job.

Wow!!!! Great product!!!! I have told family and friends about this stuff. I had a terrible ant problem around and in my house. I used Termidor around soffetts, fence, perimeter of house and I have no more problems with ants, roaches, silverfish, spiders, and I have spot treated for termites. In screened in patio area ants by the hundreds were falling from soffets and I had to sweep up daily to get rid of dead ants. Now when I eat on my patio I dont have to see ants running across the walls of my house.

I have a brick home and noticed ant trails coming in through the weep holes right above the foundation. They were small ants, I don't think they were Raspberry ants but might have been Pharoh ants. I sprayed some big box indoor/outdoor ant spray and knocked them back....for a while. They regrouped and came back a month later with a vengence! I tried spraying something a little more lethal that a friend gave me and that was a mistake. If you have ant colonies established in your wall voids, spraying something that kills and repels them will only send them fleeing through every opening they can find into your house. I then obtained some Termidor and a week later nothing but dead ants. It took a little longer for the ants that were further in the house to be affected, but eventually they too fell to the mighty Termidor. I wished I had used Termidor in the first place as the ants are not repelled by it and instead waltz though it and spread it to the rest of their buddies. If you really have an ant problem and want it resolved quickly, don't mess around with over the counter junk that just pisses them off and forces them into your house. Go right to the WMD of the ant world and get yourself some Termidor. You will not be dissapointed. Just so you know, I only sprayed the exterior of my house about two feet up on the bricks and foundation and a foot out into the grass.

We own 2 properties in So. California and though not far apart they are in entirely different climates. One property is desert with lots of harvester ants and the other is more temperate with millions of the little Argentine ants. I've used all the homeowner type treatments for years and all they did was cause the ants to move over 10 feet and start over. One treatment with Termidor and they are gone. Our pest control guy told me about this product and said it's all they use. I am really sold on it.

I had an ongoing battle with crazy ants for three years. I was using a pest control company, but realized that they were using repellents which would "quiet" them for a few weeks, but they would eventually return. I decided to take matters in my hands and purchase Termidor. Within 2-3 weeks I eliminated a major nest and 6 days for a smaller nest - I am ant free, this stuff works! The difference is the product is transported and kills the queen (which can live for 10-15 years). The key is giving the product time to work and with crazy ants, and if possible finding the nest. For that look in wooded areas near the property as well as mulch beds by following the ant trails. Also the prices on this site are much better than DIY pest stores in my area. I received my shipment in 3 days.

Ordering this product was easy as well as the instructions on how to apply it. I received my order very promptly. I got 3 estimates to treat my house for termites before ordering the Termidor. All 3 companies used Termidor to treat homes and praised this product. I saved over a $1000 by spending 1/2 day to do it myself.

I have been using TERMIDOR SC for the past six (6) years, not only for termites, but also for ants. I have found that spraying the mixture around my house foundation, outside walls and walkways completely annihilates the ants for up to a year. After an application I have also noticed the disappearance of earwigs that used to enter my home. I now use the product at both my son's homes with equal results.
