This product dies after about a minute of spraying. I have tested the batteries and they are 1.5 volts each. How do the batteries go in the unit? All 4 batteries positive side up and negative towards the springs?

Answer:

The Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer does not use batteries to operate. This is a hose end sprayer that attaches to a garden hose and when turned to the “ON” position uses the water pressure from the hose to spray the product. We would recommend contacting the manufacturer directly of the product you are experiencing issues with for troubleshooting.
