Torocity Herbicide is a selective herbicide that kills existing weeds and prevents new weeds before they can even start. It controls broadleaf and grassy weeds like crabgrass, dandelion, clover, and oxalis. This product deals with both pre-emergent and post-emergent weeds. It has a wide application window. It helps in renovating turfs by applying it at the time of seeding to prevent weed growth. It is suitable to use on just-seeded and established grass, such as residential and commercial lawns, new seedings, sod farms, golf courses, and sports turf. Available in an 8-ounce bottle that comes with a free easy-measure tool.

Do not apply directly to water or to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash water or rinsate.
Pre-emergence Applications:Apply 4-8 fluid ounces of Torocity per acre in at least 30 gallons of water per acre before seeds germinate and as close to seed germination as possible. Combine this product with another pre-emergence herbicide including Barricade 65WG for extended control of crabgrass and foxtail.
New Seedings/New Lawn Applications:Apply 5-8 fluid ounces of Torocity per acre before seeding or after seeding of turfgrass species listed below, expect fine fescue, as application to fine fescue can reduce grass density. Torocity can be effectively used on grass seed blends that contain less than 20% by weight hard/fine fescue. For optimal control, apply at grass sessing or as close to seeding as possible.
Post-emergence Application:Apply 4-8 fluid ounces of Torocity per acre in at least 30 gallons of water per acre with a NIS surfactant. Make a repeat application 2-3 weeks later for optimal weed control. Apply to young, actively growing weeds.

This kills Nimblewill and due to seeds will likely come back, but over the last several years have killed a ton of it off. Works on some other weeds too. Give it time to work. It will take days for the weeds to start turning white. Follow directions and do us Surfactant.

Works as promised! Too good! My whole back yard is white after a week! I didn't even realize how many weeds I had. I can't wait to use this as a pre-emergent in the fall and spring. I got to it too late this year but it is working great as a post-emergent! Great stuff! Worth the price!

Can I use Torocity in the winter as a pre-emergent to cut down my Poa? Can I spot spray the Poa in the summer? Any other ways that I can use Torocity to help my Bermuda grass?
Torocity Herbicide (Generic Tenacity Herbicide) is labeled to suppress poa annua as a pre-emergent but will not control it as a post-emergent. This product is only intended to be used on dormant Bermuda and only lasts 30 days as a pre-emergent so has to applied often for prevention, the label also states to tank mix with a true pre-emergent for better prevention. Pendulum 2G Granular Herbicide gives better results when trying to prevent poa annua. And either Image Kills Nutsedge Concentrate or Certainty Herbicide - 1.25 oz. will control it once it has emerged

Yes, the Torocity Herbicide is labeled for use on Buffalograss lawns as directed on the product label.
With any product you use you will want to follow the product label instructions to ensure any risks associated with it are reduced. You should keep pets, children, and anyone not applying the Torocity Herbicide out of the treatment area while making the application, and until all surfaces have had time to dry or settle. This is on average 4-6 hours after application before resuming normal activity.

When using Torocity Herbicide as a pre emergent it would be applied at the rate of 5-8 oz per acre, or roughly 0.113 - 0.18 oz per 1000 sq/ft. This comes out to about 1/2 a teaspoon per 1000 sq/ft in 1-2 gallons of water. Complete instructions on the product label to review.
