    Q
Does Transport Mikron Insecticide get rid of bedbugs?
    A

Transport Mikron Insecticide is labeled to kill bedbugs, but it should not be used as the sole product when treating for bedbugs. It can be used along baseboards, cracks, and crevices and you can use other products like Bedlam to treat seems and folds of mattress, bed frames, etc. We recommend also using a dust like Cimexa Dust to treat other areas like wall voids and power outlets. Please take a moment to look over our Bedbug Guide and our Bedbug Kits

    Q
Is Transport Mikron Insecticide toxic to reptiles? If my iguana licks a treated are is it dangerous?
I have an iguana that free-roams the house and licks anything in front of her as a sense of smell. If she licks the baseboards or furniture treated with Mikron Transport, will it be toxic to her even after it has dried?
    A

Transport Mikron Insecticide is usually safe when dry for domestic pets.  We would recommend contacting an exotic vet for advice regarding an iguana.

    Q
Can either Talstar or Transport Micron be used on a water hose dial sprayer?
    A

Yes!  You can use Talstar P or Transport Mikron in a hose end sprayer as long as the hose end sprayer can be calibrated to spray the correct usage rate as specified on the product label. Most folks use the 1 oz of product to 1 gallon of product rate for outdoor insect control. Please refer to the mixing instructions on the product label for proper application.

  • Asked by Krueger from Cross Plains, Wi
    07/10/2018
    Q
What if Spectracide was already put around most of the exterior of my home, can I still apply Transport Mikron?
My handyman applied Spectracide granules around a good portion of the exterior of my home. Now I read that a nonrepellant might be better for the carpenter ants that are boring through my cedar siding. Can I still use T Micron, or what should I do at this point?
    A

You can use Transport Mikron Insecticide but wait at least 30 days after the application of Spectracide to make the application. We would also recommend to read over our Carpenter Ant Control Guide as well.

  • Asked by Chris from Weaverville, Nc

    Q
Can Transport Mikron be used as a termiticide in North Carolina?
    A

Transport Mikron Insecticide is labeled for termites, but will only kill those that are sprayed directly or that come into contact with a treated surface.  To kill the entire termite colony, it would be better to use a nonrepellent insecticide such as Termidor SC.  This will have a transfer effect, meaning that the termites will carry it back to the colony below ground so that the entire colony will be killed.

  • Asked by Richard from Orrville

    Q
Which is the best product for treating carpet for fleas?
Was considering Transport Mikron Insecticide or Onslaught for fleas.
    A

Transport Mikron Insecticide is not labeled for interior flea applications. Onslaught would be a good choice, though.  We would highly recommend that you also use an insect growth regulator to disrupt the fleas' reproductive cycle.  Please take a few moments to read over our article How to Get Rid of Fleas to learn how to implement a successful flea control program.

  • Asked by Tina from Blaine, Wa

    Q
Is Transport safe to use with Gentrol?
Is this product safe to use with Gentrol in the same mix or will it weaken the power of the Transport?
    A
The Gentrol is designed to be mixed with Transport, as well as all other insecticides without taking away from the effectiveness. You can always spray them separate if needed but mixing the two together will create a one step combo that will do wonders on an insect population.
