    Q
Can I mix Transport Mikron Insecticide with a repellent such as conquer?
    A

There really is no valid reason to tank mix Conquer Liquid Insecticide with another insecticide such as Transport Mikron as they are both residual insecticides. Too much insecticide in an area can cause the products to not work properly and make the insects avoid it. You want the insects to come into contact with the treated areas so that the product will do it's job.

    Q
If I'm using a repellent in my can before Transport Mikron Insecticide, do I need to clean out my can before mixing?
    A

It is recommended that you do not store product in your sprayer and that you clean out your sprayer between applications with other products and after each use (using any chemical in it). It is a good idea to use a proper spray tank cleaner between applications of repellents and non-repellents such as Transport Mikron.

    Q
Can you mix Transport Mikron with Nibor-D?
What about a powder for German roaches?
    A

Because these products are used differently, we would not recommend to mix NiBor-D Insecticide with Transport Mikron. The best way to eradicate roaches in the home is to use a combination of a residual spray, roach bait and insect growth regulator. Sanitation is key to a successful roach treatment; the chemicals can only do so much, so you need to be aggressive and consistent with treating. Follow up treatments are required every 10-14 days. We recommend reviewing our step-by-step roach treatment guide

    Q
What do you recommend for paper wasps?
I have tried several products to combat Paper Wasps and get minimal results. What do you recommend? I need to spray of hedges, house, and it to be a knockdown type. Thanks
    A

If you want a fast knockdown by using a contact killing product, you may use ExciteR Insecticide. It is a good idea to have some sort of residual control though so that the product will remain effective even after it has dried. Normally, for wasps, we recommend our Wasp and Hornet Control Kit which includes a residual, microencapsulated insecticide called Cyzmic CS and a contact killing aerosol product called Wasp Freeze. Please take a moment to review our How to Get Rid of Wasps Guide for more information and helpful tips on eradicating this pest.

    Q
Does Transport Mikron have a transfer effect on German Roaches like Phantom and Alpine WSG?
    A

Transport Mikron Insecticide is a little different from a product like Phantom or Alpine WSG in that it has two active ingredients. So while the faster-acting bifenthrin will not have a transfer effect, the longer-residual acetamprid will have some transfer effect. This combination can be helpful in giving some visible results while also providing some transfer effect. We still recommend coming this with a Roach Bait Gel and an Insect Growth Regulator for best results. Please read our roach control guide for details on roach treatments.

Can Transport Mikron Insecticide be used to treat cannabis for aphids/insects inside marijuana warehouses without injuring the plants?
    A

Transport Mikron Insecticide is not labeled for use on marijuana, unfortunately we are not aware of any insecticide yet labeled for cannabis treatments. Q
What is the rate of Transport Mikron Insecticide for treating fleas and bed bugs in a unit?
    A

Transport Mikron Insecticide is applied at 1.25 fl oz per gallon of water for indoor treatments. This product is cannot be used as a broadcast spray indoors which is required for active flea infestations. Indoors, applications are limited to spraying along baseboards, corners, storage areas, closets, around water pipes, doors and windows, attics and eaves, behind and under refrigerators, dishwashers, cabinets, sinks, furnaces, stoves, the underside of shelves, drawers and similar areas and other possible pest harborage sites

PT Alpine Flea and Bed Bug Aerosol along with Cimexa Dust would be a better treatment option for fleas and bed bugs in the home. Fleas and Bed Bugs both require diligent repeat applications and can take several treatments to eliminate.

    Q
Have a unit with fleas and bedbugs. I have transport how to use lost my label.
    A

Transport Mikron Insecticide is applied at the rate of 1.25 fl oz per gallon of water for fleas and bed bugs however is only labeled for crack and crevice applications per the product label. This product cannot be broadcasted over carpeted areas, rugs, floors etc which would be required for effective flea treatments.

We would recommend using the Indoor Flea Kit that contains PT Alpine Flea and Bed Bug Insectiide and Cimexa Dust if treating for active fleas indoors.

A liquid insecticide concentrate if preferred for broadcast applications indoors for fleas would be Onslaught Insecticide.however an insect growth regulaor such as NyGuard IGR would need to be added to the tank mix to help stop the growth cycle of immature flea eggs once they hatch.

For Bed Bugs, Transport Mikron Insecticide should be applied to bed frames, box springs, mattresses, inside empty luggage, dressers and clothes closets and carpet edges, high and low wall moldings and wallpaper edges, wall hangings, mirrors, pictures, electrical switch plates, furniture, door frames, bookcases, and window frames. This product alone is not going to eliminate active bed bugs and should be used in combination with a contact kill aerosol such as Bedlam Plus and Cimexa Dust to treat all the necesary cracks and crevices where bed bugs hide.

Our Bed Bug Control Kits help to provide the best product recommendations for an effective bed bug treatment program. Each kit is based on the number of bedrooms in the home.

Please view our Bed Bug Treatment Guide and Flea Treatment Guide for step by step instructions for each treatment.
