Excellent selective herbicide on cool weather turf grasses

Very satisfied with this product. Mixes easily and stays in solution. Destroys one of the toughest lawn weeds - wild violet - when applied as directed. Lesser lawn weeds stand little chance. While it "suppresses" yellow nutsedge as stated, it does NOT knock it out, use SedgeHammer for that purpose. Doesn't bleach-out desirable turf like Tenacity can and overall is more effective than One-Time. Spot application with a backpack sprayer + correct fertilization and watering = lawn envy.

Lessons learned after 1 season of experience using TZone SE.

-It is exceptionally effective and noticably faster than any 3 way or 4 way turfgrass herbicide that doesn't have either sulfentrazone or carefentrazone type ingredients. I've used a 2,4-d 3 way in early spring and saw near zero damage to the weed and TZone killed it without appearing to slow down. Ive sprayed common broad lead weeds in summer when they are not showing signs of active growth and the TZone had almost no effect. Added a soluable nitrogen (ammonium sulfate) and it killed many weeds that aren't actively growing and a common 3 way with nitrogen did nothing. The big shock for me was I really tried to get rid of creeping charlie for 2 seasons and last season Tzone was applied twice in spring and a few days after 2nd app the lawn cut shorter, de thatch raked manually and top dressed the front lawn with 3 cubic yards of very good compost 1/4 inch average depth. The charlie DID NOT COME BACK. I tried really hard to bury it before... applied way to much 3 way my first year that the grass turned pee yellow and died. I hadn't discovered these forums yet. I went a little crazy hand pulling 15+ a day often over an hour with a gardening shovel until I could see zero Roots of rhizomes. Nothing worked and it was spreading to over 1/3 of my front lawn. Say 900 sq ft or charlie with 500 sq ft packed tightly with creeping charlie... .So you can understand that to this day, it blows my mind how easy it All disappeared. Its 6-7 months later and no ground ivy is on my lawn. I saw a few tiny baby creeping charlie after scalping the back yard during a call renovation baby ground ivy is very vulnerable until t Its established. The only mistake I had to make was you need to mix it well. Its a thick milk color and adding water won't mix it like a 3 way. I did a half hearted tank shake and I killed the grass from the bottom part of my tank where it was super concentrated. I did the same error with Tenacity which requires even more energy to mix. I suggest a cordless drill with a long mixing bit. Finally the main con is the price. I bought the largest jug because it's what was available and spent nearly $300. So I never keep it in the heat or cold extremes to add shelf life. everything S

Kills Wood Sorrel in Fescue

This seems to be very effective on woods sorrel that was taking over our fescue yard. We also have a problem with wild violets and it has suppressed those but will likely take another spot treatment for those in the fall as the label recommends. There is some browning of the fescue where I spot treated, but it's not severe. I am very pleased so far.

Creeping Charlie invasion

I put TZone SE Herbiside down two weeks ago to combat an invasion of creeping Charlie in my lawn & now it's all brown & dying off but the grass still looks very healthy, it's amazing how this product is able to pinpoint the damaging weed only!! I'm very happy with the results & plan to treat again in the spring if needed.

I bought it specifically to deal with the wild violets in the lawn. Applying as directed for that particular weed in the fall, it did a great job. It does kill other weds other times of the year but violets have to be treated in the fall.

T-Zone was exactly what I was looking for. My 4 acre mowing was full of white clover, dandelions, creeping Charlie and more. One application so far has destroyed all unwanted and grass looks great. I'm using a half tank less of fuel to mow since the trash is gone. Plan to follow up and be on top of it for next spring as the dandelions literally clog my pre screen on radiator. Also no more mowing at dark to save the honey bees on the white clover. Will be buying more. Applied using 7.5 foot boom sprayer on rear of Ventrac

Applied this new weed killer about 7 days ago and the wild violet are lighter in color and weaker it seems. I will have to wait some more time to get a better idea if this is effective. May have to apply again next year. results to be seen....

This stuff works extremely well! Concentrate is very milky and thick, so it's best you follow directions and mix well throughout spray cycle. If you have e a heavy infestation of creeping charlie you may have to do a follow-up overspray, especially if poor mixing during application. One gallon will easily cover an acre and then some. Highly recommend TZone and DoMyOwn.com! Will buy other products from them.

My lawn was full of weeds all types almost no grass at all spray the application once and in one week all weeds are dead now RE seeded the grass and waiting for it to grow . I recommend this tzone chemical to all who have weeds follow the instruction on package and you will get results

This product has lived up to my expectations so far. I bought it for the creeping charlie, oxalis and violets in my lawn. It decimated the creeping charlie and oxalis as well as some other weeds and did not harm the lawn. The violets were deterred a little but I will apply it in the fall for it to be more effective per the application directions. It takes a week before you see notable damage and by two weeks the weeds are gone.

This product does what it says and then some. I have wild violet taking over my back yard and recently replaced top soil and reseeded my front lawn. New top soil was full of wild mustard seeds that plants popped up everywhere in new lawn. I sprayed with T-zone on front and back yard. After 1.5 weeks mustard and wild violets were gone. Great product. Thanks!!
