Lou from Houston, Texas writes

Use in garage and how often to replace.

Am I required by law to place blocks in bait stations in my garage (I live in Texas)? I do not have pets or young children. I know it’s suggested, but is it required? I have two bait stations for outside use. My rat/mice problem is now gone and I haven’t had any rodent activity in over two months. So how often should I replace bait that is not being eaten?

Answer:

You can stop using Ditrac All-Weather Blox Rodenticide entirely if you have gone more than 15 days without activity. You may use the bait again if you start seeing activity again. In all states the bait should be used inside a tamper resistant bait station. The station not only protects non target animals but also ensures that the rodents are actually eating the bait. If you just set it out without securing it, they could just be taking it & hoarding it
