Tony from Kirtland, Ohio Usa writes

Used Q4 Plus for wild strawberry infestation in my lawn however it did not kill the wild strawberries? What can be used to kill these in my lawn?

Answer:

Since wild strawberry weeds are more susceptible to herbicides when they are actively growing, it is better to wait until temperatures cool off—with mid-spring or early fall applications being the best time.  Q4 Plus Turf Herbicide is mixed at 1.8 to 2.6 fl oz per gallon of water per 1000 sq ft for wild strawberry. Be sure you are evenly and thoroughly spraying the wild strawberry foliage and using the 1 gallon mixed solution per 1000 sq ft area. Do not mow the lawn 2 days before or 2 days following the application. Please view the full product label  for more information.
