Vessel 3 does not move in the soil after application. It is best to apply when no rain is expected within 24 hours of application so it has time to dry and be absorbed. Per the product label: Do not use this product on or near desirable plants, including contact of spray on exposed root systems or adventitious shoots within the dripline of desirable trees and shrubs, since injury may result. You would not broadcast spray under trees but should carefully spot treat any weeds in the area and avoid contact with roots and the trees themselves.
