I want to kill Bermuda grass that is coming in with St Augustine. Can Fusilade II Herbicide be used?

I have Bermuda coming up in with my St Augustine. I just had the st Augustine put in 6 months ago can the Fusilade II Herbicide be sprayed over my lawn with out killing at Augustine?

Answer:

Fusilade II Herbicide will also harm St. Augustine grasses. It may be best to spot treat with Roundup. Also consider reseeding/resod.  Updated Jan 2025:  Fusilade is not labeled to be used on St Augustine for bermuda grass control when tank mixed with Recognition Herbicide.  Following these instructions Recognition Herbicide 2(ee) Supplemental Label-St. Augustine
