Weed prevention on granite

Here in the SW we use granite as a form of landscape cover in place of grass. Which product(s) would you suggest for prevention of weeds and grasses growing into the granite gravel that would also have long term (6 month?) effect.

Dimension 2EW Herbicide is a great option for various grassy and broadleaf weeds prior to germination. It is used on established turf in your region. Please refer to the product label for information on application to obtain the best control on your turfgrass.
