The Climb-Up Insect Interceptor XL works as a trapping device that allows bed bugs to climb into the trap but not climb out. The interceptors should be placed at the leg bas of beds, nightstands, and other furniture where bed bugs are suspected or seen. Bed Bugs use the legs to gain access to beds or other furniture in search of a blood meal so this is a great and inexpensive way to monitor infestations and keep a bed or couch from bed bugs.  ** This is a montioring and trapping method for bed bugs and will not eradicate a bed bug infestation.
