What is a good, safe skin repellant for bed bugs?

Answer:

There are no bedbug repellents that can be applied to your skin. Bedbugs should be treated in the environment using products that are labeled for bedbugs such as those contained in our Bedbug Kits. If you do not have bedbugs but are worried you may get bit while staying in a hotel, you can use the Rest Easy Bed Bug Spray which can be used on and around the bed. Thorough inspections of hotel rooms before you unpack will also help you avoid bedbugs. Be sure to check behind the headboard, under the sheets, around the tucks, folds and seams of the mattress for any evidence of bedbugs (cast skins, feces or blood stains).
