What is the "alert function to help identitfy rodent activity" on the B&G Fast Catch Rodent Station (25000308)?

Specifically, exactly how does this trap "alert" you to rodent activity, other than when you simply open it and see the bait has been eaten? Also, will a Catchmaster Easy Set Tarp fit inside one of these stations when set?

The B&G Fast Catch Rodent Station (25000308) comes in 2 models, a station only design and the "Rodent Alert" design which features a "pop up" alert that will notify you of activity, which is a red pop up indicator as shown on the sales sheet.  We currently have the station only design in stock. Yes a Catchmaster Easy Set Trap will fit inside.
