You could apply just about any residual insecticide with ExciteR Insecticide. For general insect prevention, you could use it with Tempo SC Ultra, which is a good general insecticide. Another option would be to use a product that already has two active ingredients in it. Temprid FX is like Tempo SC (beta-cyfluthrin) plus a non-repellent (imidacloprid) in one product. So you are getting the initial kill plus a longer residual, and the residual product has some transfer effect which is extra helpful when treating social insects like ants.
