There is no pre-emergent actually labeled for Japanese so we are not able to make a recommendation. We would suggest a selective post-emergent such as Acclaim instead. Acclaim Extra is a selective post-emergence herbicide that controls annual and perennial grasses in turf including Japanese Stiltgrass. For crabgrass the best pre-emergent in the spring would be anything with Dithiopyr as long as the area will not be used for grazing or hay. Pendulum is a great fall application.
