What is the dilution rate for Permethrin SFR 36.8% to treat fire ant mounds?

I've read the directions but they are not clear on % or amount to mix/gallon of water for the mounds and 4 foot diameter around the mounds.

Answer:

There are 3 mix rates for applying  Permethrin SFR 36.8% with one gallon of water when treating fire ant mounds. Typically you would use the low or mid rate for treating fire ant mounts unless the mounds are greater than 12 inches in diameter per the product label. You can find the mix rate Chart on page 14 of the product label:   Mix Rates per one gallon of water: Low:0.5% (1.6 fl oz), Mid:1.0% (3.3 fl oz), High: 2% (6.6 fl oz). If using 2 gallons of water to treat the mounds, you will double the mix rate.
