GrazonNext HL Herbicide is applied at a rate of 24-34 fl. oz. per acre (43,560 sq. ft.) for buttercup. This would translate approximately to .55 oz. - .78 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. The amount of water will depend on how much will cover a 1,000 sq. ft. uniformly, which is usually 1-2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft.  You can refer to the manufacturer's product label here for complete application instructions.
