Trimec Southern Broadleaf Herbicide is applied at the rate of 0.37 - 0.75 oz per 1,000 sq. ft. (2 - 3 pints per acre). The product label recommends to use a water volume ranging from 2 to 300 gallons of water per acre. Generally, 1 gallon of water per 1000 sq ft are is sufficient to evenly distribute the active ingredient. To treat 1 acre, you would need 44 gallons of water.
