The manufacturer of Milky Spore Lawn Spreader Mix strongly suggests applying this product with a drop spreader. It must be placed in concentrated areas on the lawn and a drop spreader will cover every square foot of grass. If you use a rotary spreader you need to go very slowly.  If you go too fast, the granules may cloud up and the spores will blow away and not penetrate the soil. We are not sure what the setting would be for that particular Scotts spreader.  We would suggest contacting Scotts at 1-888-270-3714.
