Roger from Dallas, Or writes

What is the Ultra-Pure Oil rate per gallon of water, and the amount of oil per acre on wine grapes?

The Ultra Pure oil will be used both as a fungicide and insecticide. Both of my sprayers use a low volume of water; 15-20 gallons/acre.

Answer:

Per the label, Ultra-Pure Oil Horticultural Insecticide, Miticide and Fungicide can be used on as a dormant spray at a rate of 1 to 3 gallons (2.93 oz to 8.82 oz per gallon of water per 1,000 square feet) of oil per acre in sufficient water. As a foliar spray, it can be used at a rate of 0.5 to 2 gallons (1.47 oz to 5.88 oz per gallon of water per 1,000 square feet) of oil per acre, depending on pest pressure, in sufficient water volume to ensure good coverage.
