What LIQUID Pre-Emergent Herbicide for a hose end sprayer should I use on Bermuda grass in Texas?

Name a couple of pre-emergents you reccomend for bermuda grass in Texas and what setting do you reccomend on the hose end sprayer?

Answer:

Dimension 2EW is our most popular broadleaf and grassy weed pre-emergent and can be used on Bermuda grasses. The first thing you need to know when using an herbicide such as Dimension 2EW is that the exact amount of water you dilute it with is not important. It is only important to make sure you are using the correct amount of product per 1,000 sq ft of area. You will need to use .33 - .73 of an ounce of Dimension 2EW per 1,000 sq ft of area. To decide how much water you want to use, you should mark a 1,000 sq ft area, fill your hand pump sprayer (we do not recommend you use a hose end sprayer for this application) with water ONLY, and moving and spraying just as if you were doing the actual application of herbicide. When you are done walking and spraying the 1,000 sq ft area note how much water it took you to spray that area, and that is the amount you will want to mix .33 - .73 of an ounce of Dimension 2EW per 1,000 sq ft of product with for each 1,000 sq ft area that needs to be treated. You will need to make sure treated areas are irrigated with at least 1/2 inch of water (either by rainfall or by sprinkler) following the application to ensure best results. is that the exact amount of water you dilute it with is not important. It is only important to make sure you are using the correct amount of product per 1,000 sq ft of area.
