Steve from Conway, South Carolina writes

What temperature do you recommend when applying 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide? Should I use a surfactant?

Answer:

For best results 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide should be applied when the temperature is above 55 degrees and below 85 degrees. The product label states this product to avoid broadcast applications when air temperature exceeds 90ºF. When treating Carpetgrass and St. Augustine grass, avoid broadcast applications when air temperature exceeds 80ºF. When air temperatures exceed 80ºF, limit application to spot treatment only. A good option may be to use a surfactant with this product to help it coat the plant more and kill the weeds more effectively.
