What time of year is the best time to apply Ike's Sandbur and Crabgrass Preventer to treating sandbur?

Answer:

For sandbur control, Ike's Sandbur and Crabgrass Preventer should be applied when soil temperatures reach 52 F and peak around 75 F. For best results, water the application in with an additonal ½ inch of rainfall or irrigation. We suggest contacting your extension office for advice on when is the best time to treat in your area.
