When applying Safari 20SG Systemic Insecticide with Dinotefuran as drench for Spotted Lanternflies to multiple trees, is this still toxic to bees or only to insects that suck the sap from the tree?

Answer:

Yes, Safari 20SG Systemic Insecticide with Dinotefuran is highly toxic to bees exposed to residues for more than 38 hours following treatment. Do not apply this product to blooming, pollen-shedding or nectar-producing parts of plants if bees may forage on the plants. Soil drenches would be a less direct affect on bees but could still pose a risk.
