David from San Juan Capistrano writes

When do I spray Monterey Florel Brand Growth Regulator on two huge ficus nitida trees that drop berries?

Any treatment says to spray when flowering....I never see them flowering, only producing more berries. When is the best time to spray to prevent berries?

Answer:

Monterey Florel Brand Growth Regulator must be applied before fruit set for best results, and this is usually done when the plant is in mid- to full- bloom. If there is always fruit on the trees, then you may need to prune them back and then apply as the tree is regrowing and before that fruit set. We also recommend contacting a Master Gardener in your area for the best timing and care for this plant in your area.
