When is the best time to apply 3336 DG Lite Granular Fungicide to St. Augustine in Southwest Georgia?

Tried Ferti-lome and Hi Yield with no success, the areas are just getting bigger. What time of year is best to apply the 3336 DG Lite Granular Fungicide and will this need to be done throughout the year?

Answer:

3336 DG Lite Granular Fungicide is labelled for a broad list of turf diseases, please review the product label for application rates and specifics depending on the disease.  Fungicides should be applied when the conditions are favourable for the specific lawn disease to develop. If you have not had the lawn disease identified by your County Extension Office then we recommend starting there to ensure you know what you are treating and using the best fungicide to target that disease.  When there is active lawn disease in turfgrass, you will need to use 2 fungicides in different groups/classes in a rotation program. This is where you will apply 1 fungicide for 2 applications at 14-28-day intervals, then switch to the other fungicide for the same 2 applications at 14-28-day intervals. This is the best way to cure active lawn diseases and to prevent them from returning.  Please view our Fungicide Guide and Lawn Care Schedule for Warm Season Turfgrass for more helpful information.
